Floores' site was a fucking disaster. Crashed immediately. Crashed every time you got to any step. "No tickets available" immediately upon it actually working. But we kept at it and like 30 minutes into the sale we scored 4.

Woodlands is confirmed, so we're thinking it's a very safe assumption that Dalls is the next day.

Agreed that the undercard isnt great either, but it feels like the whole fest lacks a few anchor acts at the top.

Black Crowes being a headliner is laughable. Nix, Who, Foos and Buffett being the top of the card is not up to their standards.

I didn't know The Who were still active. I feel like Foo Fighters is a pretty big get, but otherwise I do see your point.

I think a lot of these fests for 2022 are going to be relatively underwhelming due to budget constraints from the last two years. Just a theory though on my part.

From what I seen, Jazzfest is usually top heavy because a bulk of the performers are local jazz and blues acts.

I feel like the Foos are only still "big" because of Grohl's fame, I dont know anyone that gets super amped about seeing them or really still pays much attention to stuff they do, especially this far into their career.

And yeah, I have seen Festive Owl say to expect that too. 420 Fest looks great, hoping peach isnt a let down. But if we get Billy and the Kids along with Goose ill be content.

I love seeing them. They are consistently a great rock 'n' roll show in the stadium rock pandering sense of the phrase. The last few times I've seen them their crowd seems pretty up-to-date on their new material. Sure, the oldies get the bigger reaction, but they still seem to have a big draw.

I was thinking about it the other day and they somehow straddle the line between relevant and legacy act. There's a couple of other bands that do that too, like RHCP, Metallica and Tool.

I'm glad the rumor proved to be helpful. My St. Louis show got postponed too. I have a ticket for the Alpine Valley tour start show but I only got it when they announced the 2021 dates in 2020. It was gonna be St. Louis on Friday and Alpine on Saturday leaving me to drive home on Sunday. No way I can swing it now. Major bummer all around.

As bad as I want to see Rage. They just need to cancel. No part of me thinks these dates will happen. They're not gonna play until COVID is eliminated it seems and that's unrealistic at this point.

Is this all because of their personal feelings/responsibility as performers holding shows during covid?

I assume. They were among the first wave of bands to postpone because of COVID concerns. Even with concert announcements left and right last year they postponed again. And now, with festivals and tours being announced for summer they're still postponing.

I mean, hell, Elton John announced rescheduled dates for 2022 in 2020 and he's back on the road starting this week. He was on the conservative side of hitting the road and even he's back at it.

Has anyone done a Sofar show before? Went with a group a friends last night and it was pretty cool. Think it was $15 for three acts, each playing ~30 minute sets.

So When We Were Young added a second day, same acts. But its not a two day fest, you have to buy two separate tix at $300 each for each day to go to both.

That fest is so janky. What's with the 1-day fest cramming too many artists in? Really hope this doesn't stick. Would hate to see festivals become 20 minute sets.

Eh its just that type of music. Warped had a lot of bands only do 30 mins. Not hard when you play 3 min songs.

Agree with TLP. It's mimicking the Warped style schedule. A lot of bands got 20-25 min at Warped Tour. 5-6 song sets in rapid fire

    Your 2022 Concerts

They added an hour and it’s rotating stages like taste of Chaos had

Also 25-30 mins is a decent time slot for these bands.

Buddy from Senses Fail did an IG story like an hour ago that made me feel better about it

Yeah I think they’re going for that Warped Tour vibe of a ton of bands on one day. Seems like a shitshow. Why not break it up over two days?

Cheaper to run a single day fest than a multi-day. Especially when you can double down and call it two single day fests for $300 each day as opposed to a two day fest for $300
