Right, was a general PSA to get pet insurance when you get a new pet. Obviously it’s not gonna be useful now, but perhaps in the future for you or someone else.

Man that's weird. When the doc had the scope in my nose pointing down at the back of my throat, which I could see on a big TV in front of me he had me make a snoring sound, which showed that everything just closes off completely when I do that.

Some other weirdness from that appointment, they did an xray of my head at the beginning and he showed me everything with my sinuses and nasal bones and whatnot. He could tell that I'd had some kind of infection when I was young, and there was a little "fungus ball" still hanging around there. Pointed out some other mold and things. The best was a grape-sized cyst behind my left cheek. But he was like "those are never cancerous, we don't bother taking them out unless we're going in there anyway." So all kindsa gross stuff that he seemed pretty casual about. I also had an ongoing sinus infection that I didn't have any idea about, so I was put on antibiotics.

Shit man I dunno, just like any fleshy thing a doctor would trim, probably not all that much different than whatever they'd be doing with my tonsils.

But if you Google an image of your soft palate and then imagine what I'm working with, which is larger than average tonsils and a longer than average uvula, you can see what that does to the amount of airway I've got.

Plus if I did it this year I could pretty much meet my deductible right off the bat, then have a few other needed surgeries this year

Same place I had it. V1 or V2 zone, something like that.

Now that I think about it, he never did ask a question He said "I guess people don't put change in people's hands anymore" and I said "you didn't hand me the money, either." You should have just said "I was giving it back to you the same way you gave it to me" and then watched his brain explode.

This same shit aggravates the fuck out of me. We use clothespins when dropping checks because it prevents them from flying away outside and keeps the payment method attached to the check. Annoys the shit out of me when you drop a check with the clothespin attached and the person paying pulls it off and leaves their payment, the check, and the clothespin all separate on the table when you go back or just hands you their card by itself. I make a point to reassemble everything right in front of them...sometimes with a glance like "Get it??".

Not really an irritant for me, but more of a question that could lead to an irritant.


Went to The Habit for dinner today and used curbside pick-up. When I arrived, one of their two spots was occupied. There was a couple in the car and when I glanced over their direction they were messing around on their cell phone. Within a couple minutes my order came out. I backed out and went to an empty area of the lot to eat. I noticed after about 10 minutes the same car was sitting in the same spot. They received their order a short time later and then left. My question is, when using curbside pick-up, do order first then go pick-up? Or, use a curbside spot to place your order then sit and wait for it to be prepared? Is there a proper way to do curbside?
