Just caught up on the show. Didn’t know it was released every Wednesday. Thought it was Friday like mandalorian.

I think the tv shows have always been a strong part of Star Wars. Both Mandolorian and Boba Fett (so far) are 10x better than the sequel films.

That being said, I agree with the thoughts here.

It’s definitely a little slow to start. It’s not drawing me in at all but I trust the guys to get it done.

I’ll always take historical context but the dreams are boring me. No more tusken raiders.

The hutts still look like shit after 20 years. damn. Just do a puppet.

Excited to keep watching and hoping it picks up. How much can happen on tattooine?

No, that was an adult Ewok, and it was in Return of the Jedi.

just finished e2....I just dont know. To have 80% of this episode focus on flashbacks....great, he's accepted by the Tusken Raiders....this will likely come back to help him in a later scuffle, but man this is a lot

We've spent 40 years not knowing whether he was alive on the big/small screen, he comes back in a TV show and now they're telling us how he survived and came back. I like seeing that stuff play out, and the stuff with the Tusken Raiders is a huge part of that.

Boba Fett isn't a character I would accept the excuse: "He's back and he's a bad ass, so expect him to be where he is now. Just assume he escaped the Sarlacc because he's cool, yaddy yada yada..." Nah, that's lazy writing.

Just finished both episodes earlier today. Very good. The actor who plays Boba looks like he's going to crack up at different parts with his smirk. Anyone watch Under the Helmet/Legacy of Boba Fett on Disney Plus? Looks like it is packaged together w/this series.

This may be a little late at this point, but some time last year, Disney started to release episodes on a Wednesday. I remember seeing an article about it (during one of the Marvel series) and a study was done and they found out that they get more people/views if an episode is dropped on a Wednesday vs. a Friday. So expect this show, and others like the Mandalorian, to drop on a Wednesday.

Good episode. I got annoyed when he headed into the tank for another dream but it was over pretty quick. Also, the emo hover vespa riding kids look ridiculously out of place.

    spoilers:

Just finished ep 3. Boba and the chick remind me in some scenes of Peter Gabriel and Carrie Ann Inaba.

I thought the car chase scene at the end with the joker-looking dude when he crashed into the fruit stand was too much like Biff in Back to the Future when he crashed his car into the cow shit truck and the manure flooded the car.

    Danny friggin Trejo!!!!

Looks like the Rancor is going to be a babyface? I wonder what happens to the heel wookie now? And the Hutts are good guys? More turns then an episode of Monday Night Raw.

Thought it was decent and keeps the story moving.

Shorter episode but great way to spend a lunch break.

had the same thought about the chase scene. It was like a mix of BTTF 1&2 with the cyborg kids looking like Griff’s gang

Yeah, I agree. Maybe it's just Rodriguez, though, as he directed this episode as well.

For me, it's the perfect way to spend my lunch break. The cinematography is great IMHO, maybe the story could use some spicing up but we've got 4 to go so let's see. I think Bryce is directing one of the next ones.

I’m not getting the old school Star Wars vibes off of it like Mandalorian that’s for sure. Everything is a little too clean for Tatooine.

I feel about the same way I did 3 eps into Hawkeye which is… so far, not great. But that series turned out pretty good. Hoping for the same here.

Not to bad of an episode. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought BTTF 2 when I saw the chase scene. I agree with the above also, those kids are just out of place. I wonder what they'll do with Black Krranstan and the Hutts.

This show is corny garbage. Not even close to the same quality that The Mandalorian is. This episode was Rise of Skywalker bad. I can't believe this comes from Favreau and Filoni.

What got me was when Black Chewy was wrecking shit and there wasn't a drip of blood. I know they want to keep it kid friendly but Boba got sucker punched by laser brass knuckles and didn't even have a bruise. Then the pig got chomped on and he walked it off.

It has none of the grit that should be expected on Tatooine. It looks like network television.
