100% thought BTTF 2....and then....dude runs his car right into the turnip (?) truck, looking exactly like Biff and the manure. It's so on the nose

Some of the call backs were cool but this is not a good show. Fun to be back on Tattooine? Sure. I'll keep watching for that reason and because my kid loves anything SW.

That had to be the slowest high speed car chase I've ever seen, and the lame Quadrophenia homage space punk scooters are awful.

Aside from that, I'm enjoying the series. It's not as good as Mandalorian, but I'm ok with them having a different feel for different series. Mando is very "space western", this has more of a younger audience "space soap opera" vibe. Like Degrassi on Tatooine.

I just feel like by episode 3 we should have a general idea of what the purpose is and why the main character is doing what he’s doing, and instead all we have is neon space Vespa teens

That chase scene sucked so bad. It has to be one of the slowest ever on film. It was essentially this https://funnyordie.com/wp-content/up...ooter-Race.gif with the ending of the BTTF chase. Stop giving the action scenes to Robert Rodriguez.

As for the story, there's enough to pique my interest to tune in to the next episode but something epic needs to happen soon because the action scenes suck and the plot is about to lose me soon.

If it wasn't Star Wars I would probably tap out. But the nostalgia has its hooks in me.

Episode 3 was probably my least favorite so far. I was hoping for more grittiness with the title "The streets of Mos Espa". The teen gang was pretty lame and the bikes look super dumb, Like a space Vespa.

If it wasn’t for the recent Hawkeye services turning it around after a couple of meh episodes, I’d probably be losing hope. But that coupled with Favreau’s involvement that’s keeping me optimistic. I just can’t see how he (or anyone else involved) would let this be garbage.

Hopefully hovervespa gang gets eaten by the Rancor in the next episode. Preferably in the first minute or 2.

Book of Boba has a prequel vibe to it. Kinda goofy

Alright, caught up with Ep 3. SPOILERS BELOW

    Good:
Danny Trejo!!! I was floored when he showed up. No reason, just love seeing him. I had to rewind to make sure it was him. ha.
Rancor! I really think this will be used against Boba. I don't trust Danny at all. Can't wait to see more of him.
Black Chewbacca! Holy crap, he's an absolute unit. Love it. I think he comes back to help Boba against the rancor/danny?

    Meh:
Teen edgy emo gang? As others said, too clean for tatooine.
More visions: hoping it's done now. Although I do love seeing the rain planet--forget the name. I'd love if they had unused Ep 2 footage they could throw in more.

Overall: Not sure. Don't hate it but don't hate it. Doesn't feel star wars so far. I'll kee watching but nothing is really keeping me coming back other than this thread and talking about it.

This is how I feel, though I prefer the term "geek" over "dork".

The Book Of Boba Fett I think will start another part in the Star Wars series for TV shows and assuming advanced right have a similar accomplishment as The Mandalorian and as you most likely are aware anything with Star Wars makes certain to be a gigantic hit so I think they are trusting it's a hit.

    Fuck yes.

Show overall is still a bit bland (I mean, how interesting can you make tatooine?)

But the entire scene with Boba sneaking in to jabbas palace to get his ship was one of the better Star Wars scenes. Glad I stuck around to episode 4. Really cool seeing the inner workings of some of the stuff from the OT. This scene was cool and it reminded me of the when mandolorian snuck into the empire forging plant or whatever last season.

I’m gonna say it. This show sucks.

The scripts are bad. The story is lame. The acting is poor. Nothing is happening except filling in every single detail of Boba’s story. Detail that we don’t need. I don’t understand why Disney’s Star Wars has to fill every single gap of characters. Just leave some mystery. That’s why Boba was a cult figure to begin with because he was mysterious.

Is that the first time we've seen that much on the inside of Boba's ship? Not that we saw that much, but still. I'm now wondering if they're done with flashbacks.

    I kinda agree.

As cool as this episode was, when I heard the music at the end it hit me that this series is probably little more than a really long intro for the new season of Mandalorian. I had that Ralphie and the decoder ring moment thinking "a crummy commercial? Son of a bitch!".

This show is just so boring. Cool, Din shows up soon and I’m sure they’ll have a big CGI fest fight. That doesn’t fix the fact that we’re on episode 4 of this show and the story is non-existent. Keep Robert Rodriguez away from Star Wars because so far the only episodes that seemed to have any substance to them were the two he didn’t have anything to do with.

I just don’t understand how they made Boba Fett, one of the coolest characters in Star Wars, such a boring character
