$65 for lawn after fees and taxes. I have never paid that much to sit on a grassy hill. Wow.

Not trying to start a one upper conversation but a friend of mine and I were talking about how many times we have been to Star Lake. Having grown up about 20 mins east of the venue and starting to go there in 1994 or 1995, I guessed I have been to about 150 shows there and been another 25 times just to tailgate. I wish I would have kept a list of all the shows I have attended, not just there.

Can't say I've ever heard of people going there just to tailgate. Surprised it's allowed tbh

In recent years, I know I've seen shows advertised that you had to have a ticket in order to park. However, I've never had anybody check the ratio of tickets to passengers in our cars.

This was late 90s/early 00s when I was in HS or college. Living so close, it was just something to do when we didn't really want to pay to see the show but wanted to have a party.

There was a time when they made a push to check tickets in cars to prevent it, but people would just say they were getting them at will call and they couldn't argue that.

Lawn are 125 on stubhub right now. I'll probably be able to find some tickets closer to the show but this has me worried

ticket says one scan per entry.

also, star lake has the most strict security I've seen at a live nation venue, don't know if i would want my balls grabbed multiple times....or would I?

It varies there, Ive seen it very strict, DMB 2014 for example, and other times very lax.

yeah hands down I think they're the most strict. This year at SPAC I had a pocket knife in my pocket that I completely forgot about from camping at Moreau and I got right in with it. No way that would've got in Star Lake.

I saw someone ask that question on the Farm Aid 2017 Facebook event page (or maybe on one of the Farm Aid posts about tickets). At any rate, they said no, there is no re-entry.

Ill be doing extended tailgating too but I probably wont arrive till 11am.
