We are on the same page on this. The songs don't even sound right anymore. When they play new songs and more recent songs it's ok but the squealing trumpet in every song is way past the point of being old. And now this guy is squealing even more in a failed attempt to cover the violin parts.

Just for the record I've thought Rashawn was a bad fit for this band since the start and at that time I got shit on and attacked when I posted this opinion. He's just 100x worse now

It is really disappointing. I live about 2 and a half hours north of the venue and my plans for the day got cancelled bc of all the rain we got and I really considered grabbing a ticket and making the trip to salvage a bit of the weekend weather messed up on me. Thankfully, I talked myself out of it and spent the night on the couch. They’ve played some really good shows as of late, but I still struggle to trust them enough to drive somewhere for a one off show.

Although I don't like RR. I still think the band sounds pretty solid this year. Now this set looks like ��������but I think the sound is pretty good now

BEF and Lover sound really good because they don't depend on the violin. They need to figure out the breakdown in JTR because it sounds very empty without the violin. Like I said it's a case by case basis on what sounds good. Jane? Sounds bad. LIOG? Bad.

Subpar set tonight, but they sound awesome right now, and I had a blast throughout. Been to much worse. I just don't take any concert for granted any more and enjoy whatever is there. I wish others could do the same.

Is there any show / setlist that could happen that you wouldn't be disappointed with?

The Facebook pages are in full melt over the set last night. It's quite amazing to see.

I've left shows disappointed before, but I've learned to just enjoy what's being played. Sure, a few songs could've been swapped out last night, but I had fun as a date night with my wife. Just because a setlist wasn't great doesn't mean I bitch about it.

They sound better than they have in years and that run was great, pumped for how things are going overall. Last night's show was bad and the one before it was solid, win some lose some.

Well they have 2 days off till their next show. Then a back to back 25th and 26th Charlotte and Tampa. Then another day off, then a 3 day in a row strech . So 5 shows in 7 days due to the make up show. That is rough. Hopefully due to the tour break they crank it up. I am not so optimistic

This was incredible. Might be the best three song run (in terms of quality and sound) in that much time.

Also, did anyone else notice Dave on BEF singing one of the falsetto runs from Lillywhite Sessions?

Yep I did and I've always wanted him to sing that part, on Lillywhite Sessions it's the best part of the song. Kind of interesting he almost went into the third verse of Grey Street that Friday and sang that BEF part the next day.

Hmm speaking of almost 17 years ago. The first 3 songs from MSG 12/21/02 Drive in Drive Out, Granny, Pig was stunning and spot on. The whole night was as it was released and being there, was something i will never forget.
