2018 Tour Audio Highlights
To help people out who don't like messing with torrents, the past few years I’ve done a compilation of some of the standouts and most discussed songs (good and bad) so people could listen to them.

As always, this was done with permission from the tapers that request their content not be put into MP3 format - so a thank you to them for letting me do this and a big thank you to them for all they do for the DMB community. Credit is given to each taper in the ID3 tag of the audio file. Below the full song list there are also links to each show where these songs were pulled from and additional taper credit. Requested songs are kept separate from the Tour Highlights list. In the case of new songs, as they are requested all the time, the debut version and the most recent requested version is kept in the Tour Highlights category, as well as any “special” versions (Dave solo, D&T, etc). Any other version is moved to requested songs.

I think the negativity on Samurai Cop is overblown. Seems like audio at the venue in general wasn't great, and I didn't hate the drums and guitar. I need to listen to old versions to compare, but its not terrible. Overall I think the band was a bit rusty (as to be expected) and was improv'ing a bit since Boyd peaced out.

Time Bomb on the other hand was PRETTY BAD.

Tim really shredded the hell out of the Petty track...damn!

The band sounds so damn good. Do You Remember 2nd performance was much better last night but the better audio reassures me on the full band version

As well as Nancies, Crush and Do You Remember? I really dig Crush from the first night and wanted to see how it sounded again. Nancies without violin will be interesting. And I wanna hear DYR again because I love that song.

I thought they sounded lost on the end of Nancies...Billies sounded pretty nice though.

I liked Tim's solo on Crush N.2 better than N.1 during the section where Boyd usually solos. Sounded closer to what he does on the D+T versions.

They sort of flubbed it a bit...but overall it was solid. They are good at recovering when they mess up!

Amen to that. The band sounds really really different, kinda in a good way. It's actually nice hearing a slightly more toned down and jazzier version of this band.

Still hesitant without the violin, but we've gotten solid alternatives.
