I was just coming here to post this. My KC Decemberists show isn't happening now. Still have tickets for Vampire Weekend, but I imagine that will follow suit.

Sucks to have another year of this. I get it, but it sucks. Not to be dramatic or anything (okay, totally being dramatic), but no live music is draining my soul.

i live in nyc so the flight at the time i booked it was like 300 bucks through delta. i dont remember how long the flight was maybe 4 hours? i was going over for 3 weeks or so. the concert tickets came out to like 160 for three nights i think? idk they were bought in summer 2019. i didn't book any lodging because i was an idiot but i wasn't too worried about it and was gonna handle it all while i was there. usually from what i read, food and lodging is your biggest expense with any trip there, but toally worth it. a car rental i think came to like 800 bucks for most of my time there (again 3 weeks i think)

I really really really want these festivals and big shows to require vaccine passports. If they're happening in the fall everyone will have had a chance to get a vaccine. Chose not to get one? Sucks for you, those are the consequences.

I'd be more than happy to bring my vax card to any major event. Especially if it means we can do full capacity without masks.

If they do it'll likely be a negative COVID test or a vax card. I'm fine with either. But the way things are looking we're going to be in a VERY different place by Memorial Day so who knows what Labor Day will look like.

Just saw this and thought it was worth a share. Cool to see how pumped Billy is at 10ish second mark. Not a great video quality wise, just thought it was cool to see a (socially distanced) crowd so pumped to see live music again.

Youll likely need to bring your card anyway and wear a mask inside any venue even at 50-75% before we can think about full capacity.

My favorite local concert venue in Chicago, Lincoln Hall (500ish Capacity), announced an official in-person show for 11.19.21 and confirmed 100% capacity. If that is happening in a city like Chicago, I'm guessing that is the plan for just about everywhere.

Eddie Vedder Solo tour or Dave & Tim, here I come!

What's interesting is that the smaller 90's bands that are touring like BNL and Goo Goo Dolls, they are scheduled to play pavilions in most places that hold 3,000 to 8,000 or so fans (some one offs). I wouldn't be at all taken aback if those shows still happen this summer in some capacity.

Very top heavy lineup, but lots of quality acts. Sunday is easily the worst day.

Leon Bridges, Young The Giant, & Flogging Molly would be on my list for Sunday. Tyler the Creator & Lana Del Ray are huge musical blind spots for me.

Greensky Bluegrass and Caamp are solid Sunday, but yea, Saturday is the only really good day IMO. Weird to see MMJ below some of these other headliners, but whatever.

I rolled my ticket over from 2020. I'm hella hyped to go. Saturday is wayyyyy too stacked and I'm already worried about the conflicts. Sunday isn't great, but I'm excited to see Tyler, Lana, Leon Bridges, Brittany Howard, Greensky, Struts, Oliver Tree, Julien Baker and Colony House. Pretty much the only people I"d pay to see their own show on Sunday are Leon Bridges and maybe Greensky. But it'll be good to see the others, especially and Tyler and Lana.

    I have never been.

If the line up is great, we will go.
If the line up sucks, we will go.
If the festival is canceled, we will still go.
