Good point about Captain/Fall songs though.
8 Volume 2, also included Mother Father with Santana.

Yes, warehouse 8 volume 2 was advertised to us as tracks that contained "special guests". But it was, not surprisingly, mostly a miss. The lovely ladies - blah. Tim Reynolds wasn't back with the band yet, so his inclusion should have been awesome. But Help Myself??? Typical Warehouse style selection right there

Pottsy, are you seriously complaining about '04 Help Myself with Tim Reynolds? Wtf. W8v2 is a gem.

Help Myself is a pretty terrible song.

WH8V2 was pretty forgettable for me... except for Jimi Thing. Might be the worst Jimi ever.

*edit - not sarcasm. It was dreadful.

Definitely no sarcasm. I like Help Myself. But that is not the type of song that properly features a guest. There is no solo section. It's pretty much a straight-forward version if I recall correctly. That's all I meant.

Gotcha, you mean his guest spot was underutilized. I can respect that. This is what I thought you were saying \/ \/ \/

The disc is pretty much flawless to me. Jimi is never a favorite of mine, but being the only release we have of Trey w/ DMB, it's a gem in my book. Then the rest of the disc is great. Captain, Rhyme & Reason, Jane, Help Myself, Busted Stuff, and Mother Father. Angel is the only dud, and I don't personally hate it as much as everyone else does.

It’s a sloppy mess though. Trey only added to the sloppiness

Used to at least some variety, with songs spread out over different decades. the most disappointed i've ever been with a tracklist on paper. Dozens of killer tracks sit dormant from shows that won't see a proper release. I get they don't want to involve Boyd and hope this doesn't indicate more bonus discs without any of his presence. ugh. they could have at least put Two Step->Halloween from cville

I feel like the Fall 2018 performances weren't really an option for this disc. If discs are supposed to be received in February, this WH release was probably finalized as that tour was happening at the latest (Probably even before it started).

It’s lame that they’re all from 2018, but it could’ve been a lot worst. We could’ve gotten Stand Up and Bayou.

Well I’m just talking about the WH bonus disc itself. I usually hold those to a higher standard than LT bonus discs.

Agreed. There were plenty of gems left out from the Summer Tour, but we did get a few. Hello Again, #27, Minarets, LLD. 18th Why I Am seems unnecessary, but I think they've been trying to drive that song to be the modern bands "anthem", like Ants

I’m a January renewal as well. Emailed warehouse right before announcement and they told me I’m on the distribution list for end of February.

I feel the same about YMDT . At first I didn’t see it listed , then I breathed a huge sigh of relief once I noticed it .
Only released for the 21st time in the last 10 years .
Cause you know , it just HAS to be on every single LT and encore/bonus disc .

I've got something that posted on my Informed Delivery for a label created from Sandston, VA on Feb 22. Perhaps that's the WH package?

I'll add I'm a January renewal, so I should be expecting my package in February

Last year, if I remember right, packages didn’t begin shipping until early March, and then January and February renewals shipped together. So assuming a similar schedule, it should be about time for these to go in the mail. I’m also a January renewal, and looking forward to this sometime soon.

It’s a strange time to be a DMB fan, with three 2018 releases forthcoming but no hard release dates for anything. My anticipation is... moderate? But sustaining it indefinitely is difficult. We already have so much from 2018.

I'm someone who liked/didn't mind 2018 (mostly from my personal experience), and even I'm hoping like crazy that the next LT announced is any other year.
