also, with IEMs, you really get a feel for the music. especially the drums, you can hear everything that carter does back there, even when he hits this sticks together by accidents. and also, you can really hear the clicking noise on his drums.

I'd be definately interested in these other recordings. All I've heard was the berkeley show from last year and a few snippets like Dave saying he's not gonna play "Pig" and another one where Carter is saying "I love you LeRoi! I love you!", then "please come suck on my dick". Funny stuff!

Also, it's very cool to see how they make up the new "Anyone Seen the Bridge" on the spot. Carter suggests how they beats should go and they do it.

I enjoyed the one from 2001 (Foxboro I think, or Soldier Field maybe?) where he goes, "Look at all the pink balloons...pink balloons...Pink doesn't remind me of pigs, though. Reminds me of...pussyyyyyy!"

That one is classic.

The one IEM I've always wanted but never got a hold of was 12.8.00 from PSU, mainly because I want to know if they played Halloween because of my sign and the chants we started. They came out for the encore and I had the entire front chanting Halloween and Dave looked at my sign, then talked to Carter for almost a minute or so, and then says, "We were having a conference," played Christmas Song, and then points at me (I think) and goes, "This is a love song..." I threw my sign roughly 10 feet in the air at that point, but I'd still love to know what was said.

In-Ear Monitors.

What the band and crew use so that they can hear and communicate with each other on stage.

Most bands have made the transitions from the old wedge monitors to IEM's by now.

Although, as far as DMB is concerned, I think Tim is the only one who doesn't use an IEM.

I wonder how many IEMs exist from like 2005 onward?? I know of 9/6/08 and Charlotte from 2013-2015 and that’s about it post 2004. Anybody know about any others in recent years?

Love the Charlotte 13 one. Boyd or Rashawn saying "That was bad as fuck" after Instrumental Kit Kat Jam. Dave & Carter goofing on the LL's a bit after Long Black Veil is great as well.

I'm not sure if 2018 exists, but I'm almost positive I recall a 2016 existing. It may have been released in the form of a matrix. I can't say confidently though.
