The Shrine / An Argument - the intro gives such a calm feeling, it's amazing.
Grown Ocean - The whole song is awesome but I love when the vocals kick in.
Sun it Rises - The guitar at the beginning and then the subsequent first lyrics really is nice.
Your Protector - There are so many to choose from in this song because the song is so great, the intro the part that goes "You run with the devil..." and towards to the end.

I really do love this band. Does anyone have any Fleet Foxes moments that move you?
Yes. In The Plains/Bitter Dancer when the piano and jazz drumming pattern comes in, and in Crack-Up Icelandic choral version when the choir comes in on the chorus.

Everybody Wants to Rule the World - Tears for Fears. That song is timeless and the intro always makes me stop what I'm doing and listen in awe.
Sewing the Seed of Love - Tears for Fears. This another one of their great hits. I love that little trumpet solo towards the ending.
Jeremy - Pearl Jam. I've always loved the intro and, well the outro.

After the slow building crescendo for the entire thing, the part of the song Wild Wild Sea by Sting, “For the ship had turned into the wind....” is an amazing dramatic moment.

Good call with the intro to Everybody Wants to Rule the World. Totally sucks me in.

Don Henley - Boys Of Summer. This song is what summer sounds like to me. The chorus melody and the outro jam are very moving

    Pink Floyd - Dogs

The whole song really... but particularly this verse:
And when you loose control, you'll reap the harvest that you've own
And as the fear grows, the bad blood slows and turns to stone
And it's too late to loose the weight you used to need tothrowaround
So have a good drown, as you go down alone
    Dragged down by the stone.

Dream Theater - The Answer Lies Within
One of the first DT songs that my kid really liked and would request to be played when we'd get in the car. That as well as the profound message of the song makes me think of her.

Boys Of Summer is a great one. Could have been a Tom Petty song but Petty rejected the demo when Mike Campbell played it for him. Don Henley loved the demo, changed the chorus to a major key and recorded it immediately.

That's interesting, I knew Mike Campbell had the co-write but I never knew that Petty had first dibs on it. Man, Campbell has been somewhat of an unsung hero in history of American rock. He has his name on so many great songs.

Mike Campbell is probably the most underrated guy in rock music.

That story came from the Petty book Warren Zanes wrote. Apparently Petty really regretted not taking the song and it was a point of unspoken tension for him because it was such a smash hit.

I've probably watched this 10 times in the past 40 hours. Still get goosebumps. Simply brilliant, one of the most powerful performances I've ever seen.

Gregory Alan Isakov Amsterdam and Second Chances. The piano melody in Amsterdam is just breathtaking as is the opening guitar rift of Second Chances. That whole Weatherman album is one of my favorites. I've yet to venture into his newer albums, has anyone given them a listen?
