Tedeschi Trucks Band
Listen to them if you haven't....11 piece band formed from the Derek Trucks Band, and adding his wife, Susan Tedeschi on vocals. Phenomenal. Just saw them live also. So much talent.

Both Derek Trucks and bass player Oteil Burbridge have been members of the Allman Bros Band. Actually met the bass player, Oteil over 9 years ago when I was 15 (he was a chaperone randomly at a christian summer camp I attended in FLA and he was part of the group I was put into, really cool guy, and he played at the talent show....needless to say he stole it away from a bunch of middle and high schoolers). Just listen to them if you enjoy great music...and I know you all do b/c you enjoy DMB. |

Went and saw em in Boston. The Black Crowes were good but couldn't really follow up after what TTB puts out there, could have listened to them (TTB) for another two hours. Also Derek's gotta be my favorite living guitar player.

Haven't listened to Derek Trucks since he broke up DTB. Saw them live a handful of times and loved Mike Mattison's voice. I've been meaning to get around to check out the Tedeschi-Trucks stuff. Just doesn't get much better than Songlines though.

Would really love to see these guys come back to the capitol theater in port chester. Thinking about doing their upcoming Boston show. Saw them for the first time this summer and was blown away.

Hell yea!
These guys and the Black Crowes put on one of the best live shows around these days. Caught them a few years back in Milwaukee at a free venue actually and even there they blew everyone away. |

i've seen Derek Trucks in many settings over the years, as i was raised on the Allman Bros, and Derek remains my favorite musician to date. Enjoy the show man.
