You don't even need to tip well, just adequately. Just toss them a buck and you will be fine.

The best part of the strip is right around Mirage/Venetian, since you can easily walk from there to Wynn, Bellagio, Caesar's and Aria/Cosmopolitan.

Cosmopolitan has consistently higher minimum tables from what I could tell. Their bars are solid though. As are Wynn/Encore's.

Try to tone out the bullshit Steve Wynn promotional videos in the cabs. They're annoying as fuck.

That is very average for a vegas show, on the low end, even.

I didn't pay for it when I went, so I did not realize that. But it still is an amazing show.

I didn't know that the first time, I didn't tip, I just heard "free drinks at casinos". It took like 25-30 minutes between drinks.

Later I started tipping and anytime my cup was empty they refilled it.

Tip the cocktail waitress/waiter nicely after she/he gets you your first drink. They typically don't give a shit about finding you if you move to another table/slot before they get back to you with your glass, but the drinks will come faster/stronger and they'll hunt you down if you're moderately generous

    Don't buy them online.

Go to one of the broker stands on the strip.

I think we paid $60 a ticket for Love, having bought the tickets the morning of.

    Love is must see.

Tipping well makes so much sense, especially if you're playing blackjack.

I don't understand why people aren't willing to drop $1-2 a drink when it makes drinks come faster.

We had dinner at the Cosmopolitan last year, finished up around 9:30, and there wasn't a single blackjack table with limits under $50. Needless to say we went back to Venetian/Palazzo and found $25 tables a plenty, and even some $15s.

Bellagio typically runs a decent amount of lower mins too. As does Hard Rock.

Best to call ahead. Some are really high end. Our group had to split off because some of us didn't bring dressy clothes. Although having to wear a blazer/sportcoat and dress pants in 90 degree (at night) weather seems totally asinine to me in the context of leisure.

Never been to a nice restaurant in Vegas.

When I'm that drunk, a $100 steak is going to taste the same as a $5 Fat Burger.

    Right, especially watered down ones.

Order something on the rocks. Or a beer.

Yeah, Steak was excellent. We had a group of 8 and they gave us a virtually private room and impeccable service.

Biggest letdown I've had from a steakhouse in Vegas was Prime at Bellagio. We reserved a table for 12 over two months in advance and they crammed us into a table for 10 that was basically in the lobby of the restaurant, and the waiters were so fucking uppity that a few of us almost walked out before ordering. And it was nowhere near worth the price.

I'd say my favorite overall was Cut though. Awesome atmosphere and the food was excellent.

Agreed. The most talked about aspect of that meal was our attractive waitress who introduced herself as "Dragon," and the excellent Kobe slider appetizer. Everything else was straight mediocre (and they messed up two of our orders).

At my bachelor party we went to NY, NY first and literally everybody I was with except for one guy won a ton of money. I mean a ton. And the one guy was the hanger-on that hardly anybody knew and he got so mad that there was no way to do anything but laugh at him. Will always have fond (hazy) memories.

The $3 craps table at Bills is such a blast. Great vide, and a $5 tip to the waitress will keep you double fisting beers all night.
