Thought skycam was great other than short yardage situations. Couldn't really tell how close someone got to the yard marker or really how far they had to get. I would support another broadcast with it.

Was at the game last night so couldnt see skycam.. but from what I saw when they kinda started to implement it more the last few weeks, I like it a lot.


I think they need to pan the cam back a little more so you can see the whole field. And agreed it shouldnt be used in short yardage.


Hopefully they learn this as they go because its so much more enjoyable to watch plays develop in the view.

I'm not crazy about the entire game in Skycam view but when it works, it's absolutely awesome. Much better for watching a play develop and gives you a deeper appreciation of the moving parts working together on the field. Especially seeing the timing between QBs and WRs on routes.

They just need to be able to jump back and forth on the fly, depending on situation.


If its third and long and the offense is in shotgun, fuck yeah use that shit.

If its 3rd and 1 or 1st and goal at the 2, switch back to side view.
