When you draft a guy with intentions of making him a franchise QB he generally is starting by his second year.
I'm curious, but what has Jackson shown to give you any belief he has what it takes to be an NFL quarterback?

first off the guy barely throws the ball, I don't blame him if he misses a reciever here or there. The only way he can improve as a QB is if you let him throw the ball more. He is very inexpierenced and that is definetly showing, but every good QB in the past and present only got better by getting the chance to open up and throw down the field. Plus when he has thrown this year he has barely thrown any INTs (except for the lions game) for the most part he is 90% mistake free when it come to turning over the ball.
You asked me what makes me believe he has what it takes to be an NFL QB. Well, I like the fact that he has good awareness of when the pocket is collapsing, he gets out of the pocket and throws it away, he does tend to throw it away for intentional grounding calls fairly often, but at least he isn't throwing INTs instead, that is a mistake a lot of young QBs do, is throw a lot of INTs.
