I'm just glad he had time to punch Freeman's shoulder pads on the sideline on the second half to get him to rise up! Total over emotional cheerleader, just like Carroll.

Sorry, thats what i meant to type. I had a brain fart.

Still can't believe the Pats came back and won.

I know the feeling Atl fans. I didn't want to leave my house for a month after the 18-1 season.

Still think he's an incredible QB, the questionable play calls are what lost it. The defense was gassed. Hard to blame them. Same thing happened to Alabama against Clemson.

After the Julio catch just run inside 3 straight times and kick the field goals. If NE burns their timeouts from the runs then it's 31-20 with about 4 mins left. NE would have to score and get two onside kicks. Those are not favorable odds. It worked out perfect for NE and the Coons handed it to them.

Defense was gassed, terrible coaching, and Ryan wet his pants. He is a very talented QB, not the guy who will come through in big moments though.

The strip sack on Ryan by Hightower was Freeman's fault (or whoever didn't block him). Pats D stepped up and the O line for Atlanta didn't hold up at the end. That was the opening that the Pats needed to change momentum.

Freeman's fault that Hightower got there, Ryan's fault that it resulted in a fumble and the Patriots having the ball with great field position. Also as great as the catch was to Julio it was a dumb decision to throw it, took the sack after that, had to be consoled on the sideline after the Patriots made it 28-9. He is a talented QB with Jared Goff level awareness under pressure, warrior!

no they would've only needed ONE onside kick

still bad odds though. and Matt Ryan is just as much at fault as the play callers. i know that's hard to swallow but you absolutely cannot take a sack when you're in FG range there. Poor play call? yes. But you have to throw the ball away no matter what

Pretty obvious that Matt Ryan was in panic mode watching all the footage and sound from the game.
