Cu-Jo is the NHL equivilent of Phil Mickelson. They both always choke in the big events...without fail. Cu-Jo was purely awful in this series, not that I care though.

this is actually no fun, I was hopeing they would be eliminated in the next round...

Cant blame Cujo wings fans, and if you do I hope you point at your offense with the same fingers, going into game 4, you have only scored 4 goals, Cujo was at 1.75. So, its BS CuJo is to blame, for all yourworries, get in your offenses ass before you start saying he's Dom.

Well just b/c they are out of the playoffs doesnt mean I sure as hell am not going to stop hating them.

its not all cujos fault but he needs to take the blame as much as everyother person. he gave up some really soft goals in this series, for example the ducks 2nd goal, way to not commit so early to the shot but like i said he has never been a big time goalie and probably never will be. oh well sorry to see the defending champs out now hopefully the devils can finish the job tonight.

I'm a big supporter of this thread (and any thread that deals with the Wings losing).

Although I was looking forward to a nice little redemption for last years finals.

Right now (unless Edmonton can pick up the slack) it looks like we'll be facing the Blues/Canucks.

I'd rather face the dirty Canucks so Forsberg can make Naslund his bitch like he used to back when he played on MoDo. But I don't think that is going to happen the way that St. Louis is playing right now.

Just counting down to Saturday.

well the blues are going to have to play better than they did in game 5, but hopefully they will be finished soon, got to keep up that great goals during penalties % up, surprised avs lost the other night, and stars-hate them too, but oh well, if its avs-st louis, going to be good. I left out the wings.....b/c we dont have to talk about them till next season.

Dominik Hasek is one step closer to returning to the NHL.

The Detroit Red Wings have exercised the one-year, $8 million option they hold on the retired goaltender for the 2003-04 season, preventing him from becoming an unrestricted free agent Monday at midnight ET.


If Hasek does return -- and all indications are he will -- the Red Wings must decide what to do with Curtis Joseph, who signed a three-year, $24 million deal with a no-trade clause last summer.
