Right now, I will say no to me making a trek to the Bay area. I would love too, but just not sure it will happen. Sounds like if I don't make though I won't see you until 2012.

Morning Gorge!! I finally got my rental car squared away. I had to cash in credit card point to get a good deal. I can't believe how much rental car rates have gone up since my Gorge trip in 08! Crazy. However, It's all worth it!

for anyone in the seattle area...im taking the bus and they say it stops at a liquor store and shopping center. Do your liquor stores sell beer or do you have to buy it at the supermarket?

Liquor stores sell a small selection of beers. Usually they have a small fridge area where they sell selected 6 packs. It'd be best to try and get beer at a supermarket.

my boyfriend thinks i've officially lost it. I dug out our two big suitcases and i'm doing a "mock" pack....lol. I'm afraid the day will come and nothing will fit.

I sort of did that last year. But only because I had just bought a new bag and I wanted to make sure the poles for our sunshade fit....

It is not a wise decision to show up at the gorge without shade. I always chuckle a little to myself when I see people sitting in the sun all weekend while I lounge in the shade complex.

boo yeah.. we always offer the out of towners a place in the shade...

except last year we lost one quick shade on saturday afternoon to the wind
