Great season by Florida completely undone at the end because the All-American top of the rotation figured they stop throwing strikes and the All-American top of the lineup decided they'd swing at every pitch no matter where it was.

The most runs in a college World Series game 24, 23 hits. 5 home runs. Scored in 7 of the 9 innings.

Florida with an emphatic 24-4 thumping of LSU to even up the series 1-1.

The college baseball season comes down to tomorrow. 6pm for the national championship.

It's going to be very interesting to see how much LSU uses Skenes tomorrow. He's already thrown a ton of pitches and innings in Omaha, and he'll be on 3 days rest since his last start. I find it hard to believe that he won't be available for some work, but there's no way we'll see him go any kind of distance. At that point you weigh the long-term health and earning potential of a college kid who isn't getting paid outside of NIL versus winning a championship.

we have 5 of the guys that have carried us through the post season available today. The guys Jay ran out there for that batting practice session yesterday, once Ack showed he wouldn't be effective, were not meant to try to hold the rope but rather save arms for today. I think we see Hurd get the start and Cooper get the close, with Skenes ready to go a few high pressure innings if needed.

Yeah it definitely seemed like the towel was thrown in after the 3rd inning yesterday. Having a miracle grand slam hit against you and leaving the bases loaded for three straight innings has a tendency to kill morale.

Good luck today, may the best team win!

that was the dumbest grand slam I've ever seen. Pearson started coming in then had to track it to the wall.

When we left them loaded three straight to start the game and couldn't bury UF with Waldrep struggling (and getting squeezed, frankly), then that routine pop-up left the yard, I knew it wasn't our day.

Once again, the inability of the starting pitchers to throw strikes is biting us in the ass.

The 2023 Division 1 baseball champions are the Louisiana State University Tigers!

This is LSU's 7th national title in college baseball. It breaks the tie with Texas and they have the 2nd most national titles, only behind USC's 12.

    #7 baby!

Feels good man. Anything less with this team would have felt like a let down.

    February can’t come soon enough.
