That is a great price. Looking last night I found full size sedans (which is all I need) for 132 for the week out of Spokane.

    Hey everyone.

I am going to go out earlier in the week and camp around the Washington/Oregon parks before I go to the Gorge for the weekend. Has anyone done this before? Any recommendations? I was looking at Olympic, Rainier, and Cannon Beach. The geography looks incredible at all three.

I am on a pre-Gorge high right now. WH requests are in, rental car booked. My wife is in for two nights, can't handle three straight, so I'm going to fly solo for my first time at one of these three shows.

These will be my first shows west of the Mississippi in 15 years, almost to the day. My last show out west was RR N3 which is my all time favorite show to have witnessed. If all goes as planned, I'll be celebrating my 60th show on that Sunday night.

I get excited for every DMB show, but this is on a different level...

    Congrats!!

Is your wife just going to hang at camp?

She should at least grab a lawn ticket and come in and hang out and enjoy the views.

We have a baby who will be 18 months at time of the Gorge. We're looking at making this a bit of a family trip, bringing him along a few days before the shows to sight see in Seattle, with my Filipino MIL, who can watch him when we're tailgating/at the shows.

My wife seems to think three straight shows will put her over the limit for what she can handle, but I think she's just remembering being exhausted at six months pregnant during the Cville two-nighter in 2018. It's not out of the realm of possibility that she'll be in a similar state come Gorge weekend.

We haven't decided on where we're staying yet, but narrowing it down between a Moses Lake hotel or an airbnb around Ellensburg. If we get the BnB, I promise to bring some bomb home cooked Filipino food for at least one of the tailgates, leaning towards that option.

    Hey Yall!

I'e been out of the game for a few years and wanted to check back. I was in the warehouse from 04-08 and went to gorge 5 straight years. Does warehouse ticketing work the same as it did in the past? You put in for tickets, specify if you want reserved or a package, then they assign them based on seniority?

Thanks the for help! I'm trying to get the gang back together

Only been in since 2014 so I don't know how different WH was back then. Basically run a lottery across all requests to fill the selection levels, no seniority used (although some would argue new accounts get more pits but supposed to be random). Then, based on show, seniority is used for seat assignment. Single shows seniority, multi are random N1 seniority the rest.

Last year they sent an email to people who camped the prior year to offer first dibs on booking again before opening it up to everyone else. I am assuming that is what they will do this year as well, although I don't know for sure.

Not sure what kind of price this is for Seattle, but just booked an SUV Wed-Mon for $290.

Wanted to get something reserved just so I’d have it, but will obviously keep a look out for lower prices.

    That’s an awesome price.

    I have my booking info/history and in 2016 I paid like $600!

Keep in mind it’s a holiday weekend

Figured it was good for the holiday/city—definitely one of the better prices I’ve seen. Wasn’t sure what other folks were used to in the past, so it’s good to hear

I can't speak highly enough of finally doing this - it was such a bucket list item that I wanted to fulfill, and it ended up being so much more than I ever expected. Met so many good people. Was a great way to bond with my brother and enjoy great music, and visit a part of the country that's a little foreign to me. I hope you get as much out of it as I did.

I did a lot of camping in both Washington and Oregon. Lots of campgrounds in all parks. It's better to stay a couple of nights at least in each place to fully enjoy all the trails you can do.
Rainier National Park is great, lots of hiking to do. But check out the weather as the top of Mount Rainier is often in the clouds.
Olympic Park is famous for the Hoh Rain forest and the great beaches south of the Makah reservation. Next time, I'd like to hiking around Hurricane Ridge too, it looks beautiful.

I've heard the North Cascades Park is great too.

You cannot choose a very wrong place in Washington if you like nature and landscape, it's a beautiful state.

This happens every year - I put in requests for reserved seats and then second guess myself. Should we do lawn? Reserved? Lawn? Reserved??? Ugh.

I do like being able to stroll in when I want and go right to my seat without having to come in early to fight for a good seat for my group of three.

Why is this more stressful than it should be.

Oh, and don't get me started about the stress having a group of three creates if I don't get my request through the warehouse. Getting a set of three seats together is nearly impossible on the Citi presale and the regular on sale. Concerts just don't like the third wheel

Why is this more stressful than it should be.

Oh, and don't get me started about the stress having a group of three creates if I don't get my request through the warehouse. Getting a set of three seats together is nearly impossible on the Citi presale and the regular on sale. Concerts just don't like the third wheel

I just did one night lawn, 2 nights pit, and didn't opt out of lawn (but I did select a pit night for priority).

It's a tricky and stressful business. Really I just want hard copy WH tickets, regardless of where they are.

Figuring out where you are staying is 100X more important right now than getting tickets
