Yea I noticed the Maureen/Peter last name similarity and thought it was strange. I think just a coincidence, however.

I find it funny how many actors are on both The Sopranos and 24.

Tobin Bell: Peter Kingsley from 24 = Major Zwingli from the last episode of season 3 of The Sopranos.

Paul Schulze: Ryan Chappelle from 24 = Father Intintola from The Sopranos

And I SWEAR that the PI who was tortured and killed while Kate watched in Syed Ali's safehouse was Mike Palimice, Uncle Junior's right hand man from S1 of The Sopranos. I can't find the name of the actor though.

I'm with Mark, I need to get caught but I have no time. I'll kind of watch this season, then get the DVDs when this season's over and watch all three seasons before season 4 starts.

It's so great what they've done with the show because originally it was only earmarked for 13 episodes, so if the show didn't do well, they had to wrap up the storyline in 13 episodes. Kinda funny, especially since it's called '24'.

My friends and I finished season 1 this weekend, holy fucking shit that was amazing.

We're renting season 2 starting tonight. We'll miss the first episode of season 3 though. Will they show an encore performance in the next week?

Sometimes they do that on FX. I'd suspect that they'll do it with the season opener this time. I think they did it last season. To be safe, why don't you guys just tape it...or download it and watch it whenever you're ready.

Well, my friends and I are a season behind, and the damn DVDs are all rented out. So, I took the only other way out, I'm downloading all 24 episodes of season 2. It's gonna take a while, but dammit, I'm gonna do it!

I've thought about setting up my Linux box as a TiVo - all I need is a video capture card because there are plenty of open source solutions out there.
