I loved 2 sets, but I had great seats.

2015 Alpine was amazing.

More songs, more time on stage...but a lot more predictable sets. If they can actually diversify their two sets, and acoustic repertoire , 100 percent yes

Exactly why I liked the two sets thing. Leave the ladies at home and diversify the electric sets

Funny to see people "against" the 2-sets format. I think a lot of you have a romanticized perspective of this band, and an unrealistic view of their current age and musicianship.

Acoustic sets, 2-set formats, guests and other show gimmicks are bound to become more common as the band ages.

Thought the 2 set format didn't work well in large amphitheater settings. After tailgating all day we need high energy from the band. The acoustic set was slow and boring.

Awesome that fans had the opportunity to ask Mark about DMB. Hopefully he didn't catch the red glare of anyone else involved.

I like how ZBB plays a few acoustic songs mid-set, that would be cool.

Alpine was amazing, some of the best shows ive seen, but everything else I saw from 2 sets outside of a cool Solo performance of Spoon and a couple stand out acoustic performances, everything else felt disjointed.

They just arent a band that knows how to effectively use two sets anymore.

Ill never forget the energy drain at Burgettstown 2015.. I think the acoustic ended with Two Step & Billies or something and the place was rocking.. then a break, and they came out and laid a giant boring turd on our heads the electric set.

Re: DMB 2 SETS - Bring it back?

I'm so confused by the negative takes on the acoustic set. Most folks want Tim off electric, right?

Is set list diversity the only thing that frustrates folks?..because, if they kept doing it year after year they'd probably start throwing more tunes into that acoustic set. I think 2014 to 2015 proved that enough.

I absolutely loved what Minarets, Typical, Stone and Two Step turned into in acoustic. I thought Old Dirt Hill and Stolen Away benefitted so much in there. The covers were great in there..Whiter Shade and Slip Sliding both hit high marks for me.

I just don't get it. I always felt the electric set disappointed in the two set years.

Re: DMB 2 SETS - Bring it back?

I agree with those that say that they should just insert a small acoustic set somewhere in the flow of the main set (e.g. mid set) and not strictly as an "opening" set. And they should experiment and diversify ("throw caution to the wind!" as Dave said when he lauched into "Fool to Think" or was it "Raven" for the first time acoustically solo at Benaroya Hall.. they need to have that attitude more.. and throw caution to the wind. So acoustic and electric integrated into one main DMB set. first they perform a quiet one, then a loud one, then a quiet one, a loud one, and then something in between.. LOL.

I am not against full acoustic sets for one night in a two or three night venue however you can't assume all attendees are attending both nights. I would say only a small minority attends multiple nights (< 5%).. and I would hate to miss out on acoustic or electric songs by picking the wrong night.

Last - I want them to bring back opening acts other than themselves. it was a great way to get acquainted with some bands i would have never heard otherwise. And it should lend itself to some interesting collaborations possibly.. where either Dave sits in with the opening act or vice versa..

Re: DMB 2 SETS - Bring it back?

Not 2 sets. But a spring warm up tour or a fall "cool down" tour or just a winter tour at a bunch of smaller venues would be pretty cool. besides the whole impossible to get a decent priced ticket part. They would sell out a multi-night (at least 3) run if it was a one off thing at a smaller venue.

I liked the two sets. I found the concerts are more fun if you don’t setlist watch.
