Camden temps showed up last night. I expect them to drop off on Tuesday and reapplied if I actually get seats

If I requested pit with pavilion as my second choice and it just says confirmed does it mean I'm confirmed for pit or just for one of them and I'll find out when seat locations are posted if I got pit or seats?

You want to be confirm for seats, I hated their pit last year. The venue sells too many tickets for it.

Confirmed for N2 in Camden, just got seats for N2 through the Citi presale. Pulled 104, Y after dropping a dozen tix that were on the sides and in the 200s. These will do. Much better experience than regular TM/LN.

Just pulled 4 pit for night 2, 2 pit for night 1. This is absurd. What is the point of having the warehouse if all I have to do is wait to the presale and I can get how ever many I want. Have 2 sets of 2 in the pit again waiting on friends of mine if they want them.

I have to wait until this afternoon to use my brother's Citi Card. In the event that there are no more pit spots available during this presale, what do you think the odds are of snatching 2 up during the public sale?

What I mean is, should I just get some decent seats later today (if I can't get pit), or hold out until the public sale?

    Sigh.

^ You should buy lower level seats and then sell them to me when you get pit later.

Lawn all depends on the people around you. I know many people who won't do lawn because of drunken people either puking/pissing around them. You'll get the meat-heads and slut-ly dressed girls who got wasted in the lots. Lots of yells for "Two Step", "Warehouse" and "Halloween."

I've been on the lawn for about 20 times for multiple acts and keep going back because I haven't run into those problems. Try to get to the front of the lawn and you should be okay. That and it being $36 more to be in a seat makes it easier for me to be on the lawn. Plus if you're not in the 100 level or lower you might as well be on the lawn. Nothing like being front row of the lawn and looking at the people in the last row of the pavillion and knowing I'm seeing pretty much the same view for cheaper.

Oooh, I'm hoping to get pit tickets, but I've never done it before at any venue.

    How packed are we talking?

Could not move. Shoulder to shoulder if anyone danced they were all over you. I had pit tickets for the whole weekend and traded out of it N2 into the 200's. It was so much more enjoyable. Sound is much better when you are not right up on the speakers too.

This was two years ago. I have no idea what the issue was. I'm guessing it was a combination of overselling, people sneaking in and workers just letting people in they knew but it was clearly over packed.

thanks, that was really helpful. I'll be sure to sit towards the front. & yea, price was a big thing for me too since the girl I'm going with is going more to have fun than to see Dave and wasn't willing to shell out the cash for closer seats.

Oh no! Well, we'll just make do...I'm not one of those "need to be on the rail" people, we'll probably just stay towards the back or side. Thanks for the info.

This thread has me scared for Camden! It's putty much the only local weekend I can swing, so I don't have a choice. I might be going solo though....was is this about a ferry? Any recommendations on where to stay? I have pit n2 and will probably try to trade those away for some good lowers. Thanks for any info!

The ferry runs from Camden to Philly, short ride but can get crowded quick. Cherry Hill, NJ is 10 mins from the venue and has a ton of hotels much cheaper than you will find in Philly. If you drive don't park right next to Campbells field, that lot usually has the most issues and is a total clusterfuck to get out of.

I've been going to camden both nights for 4 years now. Usually do lawn N1 and seats N2. I'll never do lawn there again though. It's okay if you're with a big group of friends & drunk, but those were my college days. I really go for the music now and prefer to have good seats.

This year I got confirmed for seats N1 and pit n2. I've never been in the pit in any venue, and the posts I've seen about it have me a bit worried so far! I don't plan on getting up near the rail or anything. I wasn't thinking it was going to be shoulder to shoulder though! I'd like to have at least a little breathing room.
