Little Rock next week might give Wichita a run for it's money for poor sales. It's too bad... who'd have thought DMB would be playing to half full arenas one day? My upcoming arena show in Columbus looks to be selling better, probably will be about 3/4 capacity or more. They used to sell out Polaris Amphitheater twice, back in the good old days.

It's because Little Rock sucks for anything other than country. Should have done okc then Rogers again if they're gonna play Arkansas. Instant sell out last year and way better venue.

If you ask me Wichita isn't a big enough market to open a tour mid-week before high school/colleges get out. Especially with St. Louis in two weeks. Bonner Springs a month later.

I completely agree. People who are going to the shows in KC or OKC are probably not going to make the mid week trek to Wichita to catch another show. I thought an 8k turnout was pretty decent all things considered. People shitting all over Wichita. That place was full in 2010 but there was also not a show in KC, Oklahoma, or Arkansas that year. Plus it was in a Saturday.

Although, this show did make me want to add more shows this summer. So +1 DMB.

The Wichita show left me begging to see the band again, so yes, +1 indeed! Also, this was my first time visiting the city and I thoroughly enjoyed it. A very successful mid-week roadie to KS.

+1 as well! I was unfortunately sick for the show but I still went - not a great choice but I got to hear shotgun. I nearly fell down and had to go find an empty seat because I couldn't stand and was hospitalized the next day, but it's all good now!

Thanks! And Oh that wasn't my video, I just found it on YouTube, I probably should have made that more clear. I was sitting for shotgun unfortunately. Hopefully the lack of crowd reaction doesnt deter them from breaking it oh again!

I know about 20 of us are tailgating in the paved lot (closest to pit / stage). You have to enter lots off of State Avenue. This is where VIP parking is but VIP is only 5% to 10% of lot and the rest is general admission parking so to speak.

Also - unsure if mentioned before, the venue just got a one million dollar makeover. Which was needed - looking forward to seeing the upgrades.

We grilled last year and had canopy. Granted we used a propane grill as they do not have those bins to dispose your charcoal but we had a full on tailgate party, no issues whatsoever and did so in the paved lots (same as where VIP lot is). There are some concrete barriers that separate VIP from general admission parking - only difference for VIP versus general parking.

If you are a Steelers fan we should have a beer together before the show. I always bring a ton of bomb shots - so perhaps one of those (Red Bull and flavored vodka shots).

I am a Steelers fan, but love the Penguins. Shot and a beer sounds great.

My friend saw a show at the old Sandstone a couple weeks ago. I asked about the million dollar upgrades and all he could see was a few cosmetic updates. At this point, the bathrooms and concessions are the same as last year. So, don't get your hopes up in the next three weeks...
