    Really looking forward to this.

    Per Deadline:

    Quote:
As he did on the first Borat, the follow-up film Brüno, and his Showtime summer series Who Is America, Baron Cohen risked his life multiple times to shoot the scenes in this film. Indeed, I’m told by sources that he had to wear a bulletproof vest on two different shooting days and on many days, there were risky and dangerous scenarios in shooting.

Laughed out loud multiple times at the trailer. May actually die while watching the whole thing.

I've watched the trailer probably 12 times and I still laugh every time. The wife and I did a rewatch of the original on Friday night, cannot wait.

Currently at an 87% on Rotten Tomatoes after 68 reviews.

If you’re trying to avoid spoilers be wary of social media. Some of it is crossing over into the literal news cycle.

    Enjoyed the second movie.

There was a Q&A on Thursday after a live premiere. I’m assuming that’s what this is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?&v=nKKh9FU8SRw

I hope we get deleted scenes at some point. They apparently got into the White House with OAN and none of it was in the movie: https://twitter.com/boratsagdiyev/st...071431691?s=21

I thought it was funny in parts, though I do remember laughing a lot more during the first one. Probably speaks both to the movie itself and the fact that I'm 14 years older.

I'm not sure if I've ever laughed harder at a movie than the first time I watched Borat. But like you said, I was younger (in college) and that humor was straight in my wheelhouse.

Yep, same. Don't think I've ever laughed harder than the first Borat and first Bad Santa.

The second half of 2 was pretty good. I like the nice twist at the ending. Although I'm curious what the original idea was.

Pretty crazy how they Rudy so compromised on film and there's no more outrage than there is. Can't imagine what would've happen if that had happened during Obama's time in office.

SBC's interview with Colbert is pretty good: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t0h0vs1bY4w

Thought it kinda sucked. The problem is the format of trying to form this story out of the pranks. Works better as a show like Ali G where the setup is just pranks/exposing the stupidity of public officials and their followers.

Thought it was a solid B minus. I like the candid style of Da Ali G show, and first Borat movie, style much better vs way too much scripted material and "pranks" that are all being played by people who know its not legit. I felt there were very few scenes with actual authentic characters. And I am always happy for an excuse to bag on a member of the presidents team, but the Rudy stuff wasn't all that shocking or compromising.
