It's super disappointing. They're going the way of OAR to me - only listened to old stuff until I just stopped all together. I hope that doesn't become the case because ZBB is worlds better than OAR.

I even tried to go back to listen to The Owl, the band’s most recent release, and 2/3 of it sounds no different than these tracks on The Controversy. Ugh. I don’t get it.

The song he previewed on Some Good News a couple weeks ago gives me some optimism.

Not sure about this mid-life crisis he seems to be going through.

The Man Who Loves You The Most is a really solid Zac Brown Band song. This reminds me of the ZBB people fell in love with ten years ago.

On a separate note, I feel ya on the Bonnaroo blues. I haven't been since 2014, but it's too bad another special weekend on The Farm isn't happening right now.

The Roo blues are super real. This year's lineup was stacked. I was hoping to attend the SeptembeRoo, but I'm largely looking towards 2021 for all major events.

These last several singles they've released since their last full length album have been pretty good. They lost me enough with some of their recent moves that I don't think they will ever get me back as a super fan or an annual show-goer, but I'd throw these songs on a playlist for sure.

Haha. It’s like the comfort food of Zac Brown Band music. I’m about halfway through. It’s not groundbreaking, but I don’t find myself wanting to turn it off. It’s got ballads, it’s got a couple Jimmy Buffett sounding songs, a couple rock songs, etc. Good on ‘em for returning to the formula so many of us, myself included, grew to love in the early 2010s.
