    Cool thread!

I put an album out last year. It is a group of my more acoustic oriented songs, is very Fall/Winter-ish, slightly etheric, influenced by Jeff Buckley, John Frusciante's acoustic music, and of course DMB.
You can stream it on BandCamp (or Spotify).

You guys have a lot of facebook likes, it's time to start harping on that. Start contacting venues maybe 100 miles away or so - or even 200 - and try to book 2 or 3 shows over the course of 2 or 3 days, pushing how popular your facebook page is. Your band has a lot of talent, you just need to push the right direction in marketing & promotion!

    [QUOTE=Mr_Walkaway;14931489]Awesome stuff going on here!

chemcaj > "My Old Friend" is beautiful! Is it about a specific person or is it more metaphoric?

Thanks very much for listening. My Old Friend was actually a song idea I had for a while. It became that song after I went to the Gorge for the first time in 2012 with some DMB friends I've made. It was just so cool to see them and others connect with friends they have made along the way due to DMB. Sort of like a reunion every year. That vibe helped me to finish the song.

There is so much awesome music on here. I knew there were many musicians amongst the DMB fanbase but wow...

You folks are a talented bunch.

I'm only about halfway through listening to all of it. Great stuff.

Your profile on soundcloud only mentions you, but you obviously have some musicians playing w/ you in the live stuff - are you going the singer/songwriter route for the most part, or does your band participate in songwriting? Are they essentially two different projects, because your live stuff sounds a lot more pop-punk than your other stuff.
Thanks man, the 2 live tracks are from the band I started playing in called REFA where I'm the drummer. The other tracks on my soundcloud page are just stuff I wrote on my own for fun.. I'm flattered it gave you chills!

Hey everyone, been a big dmb fan for a while and have been to a good amount of shows over the years. I read the boards often but I just never write anything until I saw this thread. Anyway, check out my band Corduroy Clarke. We're based right outside of NYC. Our soundcloud is https://soundcloud.com/joe-lepore-1. All the music there is free but if you'd like to purchase it as well, it's on iTunes and all that. Hope you like it and any feedback (positive or negative) is always welcome. Enjoy!

From my band's show last Saturday. Songs are so much faster live... when the crowd is dancing and the energy is flowing! Anyone else experience this at their shows? This was my bands 2nd show and listening to it I can't believe how fast we played some songs!

I recently got together with a couple friends to form a rag-tag band for fun...we have a few gigs planned at some local bars, I'll try to get a recording of at least one of them. We have a couple originals and we'll probably write a few more, and some covers will be mixed in...that being said if anyone has any good cover suggestions let me know haha. In addition to that I'm working on a ZBB cover with a friend of mine to post to youtube, should be done somewhat soon.

I should have some new stuff after next Wednesday - we're recording for a radio show locally, if it goes well in the one-live-take manner in which they do recordings for the show, I'll post them here.

I haven't really had much time to work on anything new lately, but here's a remixed/redone version of a song I posted in here a few months back called "Or So It Seemed." This newer version has kind of an '80's thing going on, I guess. I dig it, but it's certainly out of my normal musical territory. I got bored earlier this evening and started playing around with it. What do y'all think?

Finally able to put something worthwhile here.

I moved to Denver back in February to start collaborating with a local singer/songwriter and things have really gone well over the past few months. The name of the band is Jesse RS and we recently released our debut album, "Drinkers & Jokers." All tracks for the album can be streamed on our Reverbnation page but the album isn't yet available as a complete work online... just the individual tracks. We have 2 music videos up on Youtube with another one about to drop in a few weeks. There's also a few live videos up, albeit the audio is poor on most of them due to the recording devices. We're hitting the road on May 29 for our album tour with gigs already lined up in Kansas City, Chicago, Indianapolis, Cleveland, Washington DC and Philadelphia with likely stops in Boston, NYC and St. Louis still to be confirmed.
We consider ourselves an indie group, but there are touches of rock, pop, funk, folk, blues and more throughout our music. Check out the links and hopefully we'll run into some of you while we're on the road!

I look forward to reading back and finding all the great music posted here.
