    Has any official meet up been announced for this show yet? I work with Studio C and they are down for us doing some pre-show tailgate experience in the Piazza which is directly behind VanAndel. It'd be free to hang out, but they'd set up a bar for anyone wanting to buy booze. Wanna play some bags and listen to some deep cuts? Anyone know who I should contact to make it the official meet up?

    You’re talking about Studio Park, right? The little “grassy” area that’s like right in front of the movie theater?

    Yup! The Piazza has built-in speakers and a screen, so we can theme it up with DMB pretty easily. We’ll pull out the corn hole games and add a bar. If it’s cold that day we can turn on the fire pits and we can pull out some patio heaters. Super simple, just a place to meet up before you get in line.

    Studio Park is an excellent excellent idea! Make sure to make a Facebook event for it and post it in the DMB - Michigan group for more exposure.

    Love this idea!! Agree that if a FB event is created to share across groups, it can gain some decent traction.

    One of the parking towers connects directly to the stadium as well.

    Too bad the Oklahoma shows got cancelled, but I must admit it's nice that the boys have 2 weeks off before the final run of shows. Gives them some time to rest and recharge. I think we're going to get a gem in GR--especially with a nice warm up show in Columbus the night before.

    Not free until 6pm. Meters are affordable though, especially if you only have to pay for a couple hours. Depends on how far you want to walk. Lots of fee parking on the west side of the river. You have to go 6 or 7 blocks East if you want to find free parking the arena side of the river.

    I'm staying in town at an air bnb which isnt far from the venue. I don't mind walking in general, actually prefer it - but I am not a fan of walking in wind/rain/snow (let's hope not lol)

    Staying at the courtyard Marriott, from the distance, it looks like this hotel is right by the venue?

    Getting in early Saturday, besides the meet up, what are some places we should visit to eat or drink? Would like to try some local beer?
