No show socks are dumb because you are just pretending to be gross. I don't get it. Now I know why old men just say fuck it and wear the work socks whenever, wherever.

I understand women wear plenty of shoes that don't require socks, I'm referring more to the loafer, Chucks and sneakers that both sexes seem to be more and more ashamed of wearing socks with.

Being irritated by other people's sock choice is odd.

I wear both no show and long socks, just depends on the occasion and the shoe. Always long socks in the winter with my boots and jeans. No shows in the summer with shorts and converse. I also am a fan of funky graphic print socks with my chucks and shorts, but then I get farmers tan lines on my ankles.

Minimal show is what I like. Do not understand how people can wear socks that don't meet the top of their shoe. Not even running, and my heel will die just from walking from the rub.

I’m almost always barefoot in the summer unless wearing footwear (sans sandles, flip flop, etc…) or walking on a non-hard surface like grass. I’ve never ever liked walking barefoot in the grass, growing up with a dog had a lot to do with that.

Any day that I don't work out I consider an F basically, daylight being less doesn't help. Glad I still work from home on Tuesdays and Thursdays though and have time those days to do something active.

Can't stand socks that sit on the ankle bone or lower on me (couldn't give a damn what other people do). It makes my skin crawl, which is also an irritant that I'm so easily triggered by something like sock length.

This is my every-day sock when wearing sneakers/shorts. When wearing pants, I will wear calf-length dark socks because I think it's weird to wear short socks with pants.

My wife also teases me because I'll wear the calf-high Vans socks with my high-top sneakers while wearing shorts She hates socks that show.
