So are we just super mellow about this show or what?

I only ask because so many of the show threads have 10 to 100+ times the amount of posts. Not that more means better. It just seems like we're chill...coo...

Anyone know what time gates open for parking and what time WH gates open to get into venue? I'm gonna be in line as soon as I get there so no tailgating for me because I want rail.

Will be the most sober Dave concert I've been too. Lol...might tie a quick buzz on but that's it. Only 2nd time I've had pit and the 1st was in Burgettstown this year!!

I was there, as well!

Is anyone planning on hanging out at the beach on Saturday before the show? Any interest in getting a little Ants pre-tailgate tailgate in the sand? I'm coming down solo for this one, and it would be fun to have people to throw a football around with at least. Otherwise, I'll just nap all day in the sun

I'm going to fit on getting down there from DC and on the beach by 10am or so. Let me know if you want to hang!

Weather's not looking good for beach-based activities. 80% of AM t-storms and 40% in the PM. Cool aquarium to visit...iffen you likes sea critters. Some museums and then a cinema ale house:

Shoooooot. I thought the forecast had improved. Might just come down later then and skip getting up super early. We'll see how it looks tomorrow.

I was thinking the same thing - I thought people in VA would be way more excited!!


On another note, I hear parking is horrendous here - but I have preferred parking, is that any better???? Any secrets anyone would like to share?

Our first time at VA Beach for DMB, I got tix w/ parking too...haven't a clue.

The poster for this show is great. I saw it a few days ago. I hope I am not hyping it up too much, but I really think it's one of the best, if not the best of the tour so far.

Thanks. That's so early... I wish this poster madness wasn't so out of control. I only get them occasionally and only for shows I actually attend, but this secondary market of flippers and collectors is insane. There are easier ways to make a few bucks.

We've got 205 Row F Seats 1 & 2...if anyone has anything with close (same section or in 204) w/in a row we're trying to make up Bristow to our 8 & 14 year-old. We'd take rear 103s too...ideally trying to sit as together as a family as we can...without moving further away from the stage.

Can that be right? That does seem awfully early. I arrived at bristow at 630. Warehouse people were going in, but not the regular tickets. I was thinking maybe 6.

possibly. I’m going off of memory, also I wanna say in recent years they’ve started opening the gates a little later for whatever reason. Venue page or facebook should have more accurate info

EDIT: apparently gates were indeed 6 PM for the Manson/Zombie show.

It’s not too bad. Probably about 20 minutes to leave the lots.

At my age and income now, I’d probably find a spot to sleep and make it an enjoyable evening.

In my younger days, I’d probably make the drive to Richmond.

As is, we stay in Williamsburg because the dining is better, the hotels are nicer and cheaper, it’s nice to be on that side of the tunnel in the morning, and it’s not a bad post show drive.

Frankly, if I ended up at home, in my own bed, I might just push it to Richmond.

I thought folks were be facetious on the set list thread, but the I'm starting to feel like things might not be so great tomorrow. A massive TD, another TD, and a BTCS classic I've never heard the band do...the 1st and 3rd of these are things I would have hoped to hear tomorrow.

Yeah... this set tonight is really good. JTR and Raven still sitting out there though. Give me one of those tomorrow and I’ll be real happy.
