Right now I'm only seeing DMB at Shoreline, but I may add Dead & Co on 7/3. Still TBD on that one....It'll be a fun way to kick off the 4th of July!

Ended up catching Dead & Co there on 7/3. Great show, but boy was the lawn packed!! I don't remember the last time I've seen it so packed.
A few things to note:
1)
BEER - They have added extra concessions at the top of the lawn. There are now 4 tents (2 on each side of the skybar) that sell canned beer and snacks. The beer selection throughout the venue was HUGE. I saw Firestone 805, (4) types of Fieldwork, at least (6) types of 21st Amendment, and then you're typical big beer brands (coors light, bud light, shocktop and their faux craft offerings.) Tons of wine and hard alcohol, even Jello Shots. Really amazed how many alcohol choices they had.
2)
The Fieldwork bar is right by the main entrance and has 4 beers on tap. We got to the show on 7/3 late and there was 0 wait once the show had started. They had TV's and were pumping audio into the bar. A 16-20 oz pour was $17...so Bay Area prices to say the least. I had a juicy IPA from them and loved every minute of it.
3)
Security has metal detectors, but they were fairly chill. Keep that in mind when coming in.
4)
The lawn is weird. Going from back to front, the lawn has a steeper slope towards the back and then levels out as you get closer to the rail. If you're too close to the rail, people's heads will block the stage once everyone stands up. My sweet spot has always been about 30 feet to the side of big green projector boxes in the field.
5)
Sound can be patchy in some places. We sat close to the spot I called out above and had great sound quality for the show.
6) They allow
outside food! Bring your snacks and munchies so you're not paying for a school cafeteria chicken patty sandwich.
7)
Parking/Getting to the Venue - On the day of, Google maps had told us to take Amphitheater Parkway and then turn left onto Shoreline Blvd. DO NOT DO THIS!!!!! They close off Amphitheater Parkway at Charleston and make you go left or right. Then we had to backtrack and take a left onto N. Shoreline Blvd to get to parking....It's better to just take N. Shoreline Blvd. off the freeway and keep in the right lane.
8) Lastly, if you're coming close to the start of showtime and aren't trying to get parking in Lot B (closest GA Parking) stay in the right lane, turn R onto Crittenden Ave. It will take you around the Google complex, onto a dirt road and then into the back of Lot E. About 10% of the people were turing right here while everyone else was going all the way around and taking what I can only assume was North Road or something similar.
