It's the covered soundboard area, I've never sat there but i'd imagine it can't be that bad.

From what I remember from 2013 parking wasn't the greatest, there are a couple of paved lots then farther away there are some gravel/sand lots.
We got there at the break of day to get railed so we got a spot closer to gates.

We will be there. Sucks that the seat selection and ticket prices are outrageous this year, but we will still be there for the whole week.

The sound booth is right in the middle, so the flat roof of that is higher than the seating. I never sat behind there, but I wouldn't risk it unless you don't really care about looking at them. I don't think it's 100% obstructed, but it's definitely not a clear view. I always sat on the sides and now I'll be in the back since the seating selection was atrocious this year. Other than that...good venue and beach getaway at the same time.

I dunno, man. I thought for sure we’d get it at Irvine Meadows in 2016–their last show at a venue they’ve played since the ‘90s before it was torn down (and Dave made clear he knew what was up.) But no dice. The band did play past curfew and we got a solid Two Step>Halloween encore, but no Last Stop.

Then again, I like your version better. So I’m going to go with that.

I'm guessing that's the soundboard. I don't think it's that big of an issue, but I've never done anything other than pit here.

We were supposed to be having out of town guests with us the weekend of this show, but just found out they changed their minds...so that means we're in for this show!

That being said, if anyone has any questions about the venue or the area, I'm very familiar. Also, ISO two pits

For you 1st timers, be VERY careful about the police here in Orange Beach. They love nothing more than to mess up a 'good time'. The OB/GS saying has always been "come on vacation, leave on probation". Just google Widespread Panic and why they rarely play here anymore. Anyways, enjoy the island and the show. Hit up the FloraBama for sure!

So with it being Memorial Day weekend, of course prices are sky high for anything decent...I don't want to get a Days Inn a few miles out of town and it's in hickville, so any recommendations on where (or where to avoid) getting a hotel/Airbnb somewhat close by?

Going solo from Orlando with my 1st ever pit ticket so I'm stoked!

Might be worth driving over to Pensacola area after the show if you're coming from Orlando. Maybe some cheaper stuff around there.

Foley is a nice place and only about 15-20min from venue if you find anything there

My understanding is

If cancelled refunds will be made through point of purchase.

If rescheduled refunds will be made through point of purchase if you can not make the new date.

Old tickets will be honored at new date.

What does this mean? Coming in from Colorado and don't understand tropical/coastal weather reports. How should I prepare?
