I've been in some super shitty ubers

I had one who had the turn-by-turn so zoomed out that it was like looking at a map of the entire state

Had a lady pick us up in Miami once. She was at like 3-4 stars so I was already skeptical, then it looked like she kept getting lost three blocks from us. I had picked a place on the map near just an area we wanted to get to in South Beach and entered that in the app. But she was like "it's no address" over and over (didn't speak much English). I kept saying it was fine just go to the place I entered. She showed me her app and it had the place but she wasn't pressing the "Go" button or whatever. I pressed it for her and it came up with all the directions and began the navigation, and I was like yeah, see? Just go there. But she backed out of that and kept being like there's no address. So we canceled the ride, got out, grabbed another uber, and contacted support on the ride to get them not to charge me for the quarter mile we'd ridden with that moron.

A month or two ago I asked my dad something via text and he took about 5 days to answer me. He finally did and we went back and forth and changed subject, I didn't reply to something for like 25 minutes and he sent something like "Bueller? You still with me??"

I had to call him on his 5 day disappearance prior to that conversation.

I think my parents having cell phones are more frustrating than if they just didn't use them! Because they basically don't!

Somehow, my parents never have their cell phones around them or have them charged. I try to text them all the time (or call their cell phones) and it will go straight to voicemail or nobody will answer.

Most frustrating is post-school time after they pick up my oldest from school.
They should be in the car driving and I'll try all 3 cell phones (including my son's) and nobody will answer.

How can 3 people be in a car and each person have a cell phone, yet nobody will answer?! Or, they'll text me something, I'll respond - but they somehow forgot they have a cell phone in the 2 minutes it took me to respond and they never see my response ...

My dad had a cell phone for like 3 months. Never answered it. Ever. But anytime he calls my cell and I don't answer he's like 'why do you have a goddamn cell phone if you never answer it?'.

It also took my parents forever to understand what 'voicemail' was... They'd always leave a message saying 'hey, you there... pick up? hey, heeeeey'.

The worst is when they go on trips with my child: I (overly) worry and like to know where they are (particularly during the drive). My parents will never answer. I've learned to just check my Mom's Facebook - she'll check in when they stop for lunch, etc., so I can see how they're doing based on her check ins.

Yeah, I got one of those going for my bros/cousin who like to text on game days / drunk nights. Do not disturb that shit... I'll pick up my phone half way through a game and see a red 47 on the little text icon. But my phone never blows up... perfect.

Pruning and hedging trees/bushes. Raking leaves. Collecting other sticks and debris.

Cleaning up all the shit that Autumn drops on such places.

Yeah, I don’t do much raking. Mostly suck up the leaves with the lawn tractor and/or use a leaf blower

Raking is legit miserable. Especially when shit is wet. Leaf blower is a godsend

Unfortunately the handhelds still don’t do shit against even dry leaves, they’re good for clearing a small area, driveway of grass clippings, or a sidewalk.

If you want something that’ll really do the job you need a backpack blower or a blower on wheels that the sealing companies use to clear driveways before they put the tar down.
