Why is it the venue's fault that people don't plan to get there until 6pm for a 7:30pm show?
It happens at every venue, not just CMAC (traffic is going to be an issue when you're dealing with, what, 10,000 automobiles?). They've played there now 4 times since 2010 and that's the first time I've ever seen that happen, and I've seen shows there for more artists than just D&T.

I was under the impression that the clusterfuck was the actual entrance into the venue, not the traffic. I also came in thru the bridge entrance and there was a long line, but not as long as last year. It was nice that they had a lawn express lane in the place of where VIP entry was last year also, it thinned out the line for the bridge really quick.
But again, back to your point about everyone waiting til the last second to make moves. Kinda guilty here with a 7pm departure from our tailgate.

It's clean and people are generally respectful of the artist and their neighbors.

Agreed.
