It’s worth it if you’re planning to go at any time, whether once a year or every few years.

That said, I also have links.

Yup, we also have some great reservations made. Big thing was the free dining plan to save us a lot on food.

Awesome....it is kinda crazy how strategies have changed over the years from:

    No Fastpass
    Paper Fastpass
    Fastpass plus

Crazy to have major attractions knocked out 2 months before arrival.

Looking for suggestions on planning a four day trip in October to take our kids to the MNSSHP. Just in the early phases of planning. Not sure if we should leave Wednesday after the kids are of school and return home Sunday afternoon ( flying from Cleveland) or do we leave Thursday afternoon and come home on Monday? We figured my kids and wife (teacher) could miss two days of school. Any advice or suggestions are appreciated.

stay on property - something in the price range of Orleans or higher (depending on your personal budget) - don't stay in the value hotels

do MK Thurs, HS Fri, AK sat, and Epcot Sun.

Booked a last minute trip for mid September. The free dining was a big lure. Really looking forward to heading back; we haven't been since April 2016. Fastpasses and reservations have been booked. 39 days and counting.

that's a pretty solid plan - you'll be hitting the parks on slower days. Old Key West is nice too.

Staying at Art of Animation on Saturday just for fun, then using the extra magic hours to head over to Hollywood Studios and checking out Toy Story Land. And yeah, I know AoA isn't great, but it has a Little Mermaid room and when your daughter wants the Ariel room, you book the Ariel room.

Yup, and we have park hopper for four days so we’ll prob head to Epcot more than once because of the wine and food festival and to MK for magic hours.

Is there a specific reason why you think they should hit MK first? I typically like going to the Magic Kingdom on my last day, makes it more memorable IMO.

you and everyone else - everyone's 1st day and last day are at MK, which is why Monday's and Friday's are busy as hell there. better off hitting it on a non-M/F b/c you get less people.

the memory you want is not standing in lines, but the fun of it.

I totally agree. I guess I didn't look at his itinerary close enough and see which days he was getting there. I have always arrived mid week and left mid week so I haven't had that problem.

I agree. We hit MK our second day of three in 2016, but it was the day after Christmas. We purposely aimed for mid week because MK is the park we wanna be at the most. (Epcot a close second, especially with the festival being there.)

Headed to Disney right now. Kids are going back to school so I am hoping the crowds will be lower.

No idea if there are any hardcore disney collectors but there's an expensive auction happening in LA soon from a huge collection.

Can flip through the collection items towards the bottom in some atrocious we applet thing if you're interested. No idea what I'd do with one but would love to have a Doom Buggy.
