I get to eat at the Grand Floridian. I don't think I'll ever be able to stay there, though.

I've stayed there and even though it is so extremely nice, it just seemed way stuffy. Very nice, even though it wasn't for me. Had a great view of the fireworks and castle though.

My favorite is the Wilderness Lodge. I love that resort and i'll probably end up staying there for now on whenever I return.

go to Albert and Victoria's. You need a $400 dinner every once in a while.

and the best hotel in the whole place is The Beach Club, within walking distance of Epcot (the England Enterance). It's across the water from the Boardwalk.

I'll keep that in mind for the next time?

Can I go to the soda shop even though I'm not staying at that hotel?

    yes.

it's also the most expensive hotel in the whole place (around $300 a nite), so I'd suggest hitting the lottery or knocking over a liquor store before booking the reservation.

It is...but the rates b/w the two (and the Yacht Club and Boardwalk) aren't that much of a difference.

Its been a few years but we used to go to a character breakfast buffet at the Floridian, I don't know if they still do it though.

The Boardwalk isn't bad to stay at either, we stay there or at Old Key West cause of the Vacation Club.

My fav is the Caribbean Beach. That place was my spring break from grade school through high school and I am still good friends with other people whose families went there each year at that time.

So either today or yesterday my boyfriend got called in for jury duty for next week... When we'll be in Florida. His mom was throwing hissy fits left and right. I thought it was pretty funny, except now I am actually looking forward to being at Disney.

So luckily, he got out of it until he gets back.

just saw this thread for the first time and my questoin is why would you be overwehlmed by going to Disney? I mean, it's friggin Disney World! I couldn't imagine it being overwehlming. Anyway, I suggest dipping out on Disney for at least one day and head over to Islands of Adventure. It's WAY better and they have real rides. Have fun!

And whoever said drink alot of water, well yeah do that. It's hot out!

It's overwhelming because boyfriend's mother is making it so with all the itenerary's and packing lists and whatnot. She's such a fucking spaz. I swear she thinks my mom kept me under a rock and never let me go on vacation.

But the park itself is overwhelming to me because I've never done anything like this before. There's so much to do and I wouldn't know where to begin. I'm a very easily worried person. The fact that I had to pay so much money that should be going to school didn't help either.

I don't know about Island of Adventure. I'm not a big coaster rider. I don't like going upside down, down big hills, etc. But I'll think about it.

Universal studios is fun too. They have alot of "not so scary" rides.

Good luck and just have fun!

I'm not sure, but I don't see why they wouldn't have wireless at least at the hotels. Look on the website just to be sure.

Yes but you have to pay 9.95 a night for it. So isn't worth it.
