Currently selling my 19th Year anniversary spaceballs soundtrack on ebay. Was a limited run of 3000 units. Typically goes for decent money, but ive been having trouble moving it. Sold a Ghostbusters Elmer Berstein score cd for $75, and a Jerry Goldsmith Burbs score cd for $100 awhile back.

There is money to be had in limited edition scores.. Spaceballs, and Necessary Roughness are my only remaining two to get rid of haha.

but yea, tangent city, beer is good.
I'm honestly not sure if I like Robert Loggia better as Feech LaManna in The Sopranos or as Wally Rigg in Necessary Roughness - and that's a pretty bold statement coming from me if any of you know how much I adore The Sopranos

scrock im glad you chimed in. Mortalis Brewing in Avon. Get there. Tree House esque hype in the 585 area. I can’t wait to try out their stuff. All very good from what I’ve heard. Stouts are crazy good, and they have some hazy iPas on right now too.

Stouts are year-round!! (Outside of the summer, for the most part).

Had a few this past week and it was such a treat coming off a mostly IPA/Sour diet.

    Yes

    Just had an aged CBS.

Drink it now. Age did nothing for it.

Believe many here mentioned CBS having a ‘drink now’ mentality. I still have my one bottle I bought, and definitely need to drink it. Was great on tap earlier in the year. Won’t last much longer.

I’ll always be a drink now guy with 99% of the beers out there. I’ve done enough tastings / verticals to realize though all beer will change over time, very few actually improve. Brewers will almost always release beer when it’s prime for drinking. Aside from something that is just too hot, I’m usually drinking fresh!

Also nice to see the MBB make it to another destination successfully! Nice box, still amazes me how many great beers are making it into cans, well done by craft brewing in general!

It’s the only sour I’ve ever enjoyed. I don’t think they made any last year bc the peach crop was bad due to the drought? Maybe it was the year before

It’s mid-August, why am I seeing pumpkin beers already?

However, I decided to go with it so I’m drinking a DFH Punkin right now.

Would’ve been perfect with my dinner tonight... made a peach glazed pork loin. Still off beer for a bit longer though. Wife is making up for it by drinking enough for both of us. can’t believe she went to Concord Craft without me tonight.

Well for the past like 7 years they’ve been coming out in July so I guess the answer to your question is “you have not paid attention for 7 years”

GF and her family went to Jackson Hole last month. Forgot to post when I drank them but she brought some local beers home.

Aloe 208 by Grand Teton Breweing was a decent blonde ale. Nothing too special.

Bitch Creek American Brown Ale by Grand Teton Breweing was fire. I really enjoyed that beer. I wish I could get it more regularly. Solid, solid brown ale.

Tribus Brewing opened last week in Milford, CT. Couple of guys I went to high school with are the founders. Heading up there this afternoon to check it out, really pumped and excited for them that they finally opened up. One of the guys told me like four years ago that it was in the works.

    How was it?

Five Churches in New Britain is partially owned by a kid I went to high school and played baseball with for years and he said it was a similarly long and painful process to get from conception to opening. That spot is really nice, hopefully Tribus is as well.

It was pretty good dude! Probably jussstttt far enough away from Norwalk where it’s beyond the “let’s go grab one” range. But the beer was pretty good (Blank Check and Flow were my favorites) and it’s a really cool space.
