Its very crowded and extremely hot. You will need to hydrate in a major way. I'm a sweater and wear dri-fit everything, including a doo-rag (that Dave and Carter made fun of). It is also small and crowded, but most small pits are. Its NOTHING like Camden or Atlanta, two pits consistently oversold.

I was in it for Jack Johnson this last year. They took out the first few rows of section 2, it was definitely bigger. It wasn't Bristow/Tampa big but it definitely wasn't people on top of each other. However it will be hotter than anything you could ever imagine in there! That being said, got the upgrade for N1 Im ready to get sweaty!

Looking for recommendations for a beachfront area or hotel to stay at within reasonable driving distance to the venue. Any help would be great!

Still looking for 3 or 5 tix to WPB n1 (5 people going and only 2 tix secured thus far)
But we got tix for Tampa and WPB n2

No word of the usual TR3 late night gigs @ Roxy's. Might have to find a new afterparty to hit up if anyone knows of anything

Excited to see what the FL run brings in terms of new songs and maybe a special guest or 2 - we've been spoiled in past tours with Branford Marsalis & Carlos Malta just to name a few world-class musicians who graced the stage during recent FL runs

Question for any of the WPB vets.

For seats in section 1 or 3...which rows/seat numbers are not ideal? In other words which seat numbers are closer towards the center row? It's surprisingly hard to find this info on Google.

Looking out from the stage low numbers start on the left and go to the right. Like Peter suggested, go to Livenation or Ticketmaster on a computer, not your phone, and you can click on each section and see seat numbers.

I've had the "partial view" outer aisle seats in years past and had a plenty good view and great time. It just all depends on what you care about I suppose.

With the postponed Bama show rescheduled for the Sunday after WPB, this will be the first time in a while that WPB doesn't close out a leg of the summer tour.

Thanks a lot for the great info. As long as the sound is still great I'll have a blast! Only have ever had uppers there.

Don't like it at all, they are usually a little more loose and hyped up about their little break which equates to great shows. I'm sure they'll still be awesome but just kind of a change from the norm.

They’ll act as if it’s the last show of the leg and mail in Orange Beach. That’s been the past experience

That’s the first thing I thought of too when I saw that new date announced. Hopefully they still come out and are high energy. The “last shows before the break” theory has actually hurt us in the past too; because all of the band member’s families were down they didn’t seem to be in to the shows as much and treated it more like a vacation (came out late and played shorter sets).

The 2016 WPB sets were both about 1 song longer than the 2016 Tampa set at least. Its still a 2 night stand and still close to the end of the leg. I'm still optimistic. Dunno that WPB will get another Last Stop, but should still be some special moments and maybe special guests

Anyone know of any shuttle type services from Downtown WPB to the venue. I know there was a party bus in years past that left from World of Beer. There are 5 of us not looking to draw straws on who drives home after the shows. Thanks.

Starting to get really excited about these shows. We have an air b&B for the week, was like half the price of even the cheapest hotels closer to the beach.

need a N2 pair if anyone is looking to get rid of theirs

    Definitely NO.
You can get VIP parking day of show. Even the regular parking (if you arrive soon after lots open) is really good.

IIRC, there's like 3 tiers of parking - regular, midlevel, and Premier/VIP. The $50 premier pass they sell in advance is unnecessary. We do usually opt for the midlevel parking (like $20 I think) on the day of. Closer parking and quicker exit.
