wouldn't an HDMI out be more useful?

Re: the youtube full show thread

Hey everyone. I downloaded a show last night (12.18.98) and it's in SHN format. I used to convert SHN shows all the time, but now for some reason it's not letting me. I tried the WINAMP route and also the mkwact route, but when I try to download the mwk tool it says I don't have enough memory (which isn't true). Any other ways to convert this show, or a program I can listen to SHN files?

I know this isn't the right thread for it but figured a lot of ya'll download shows. Thanks for any help!

    Use Trader's Little Helper: http://tlh.easytree.org/

MKW Tool should have worked but your problem could be that you need to change the compatibility mode for the EXE to something older.

Think all of these are on my Willy or Copperpot channels - could just subscribe.

www.youtube.com/oneeyedwilly5 is all extended stuff. The problem with all the links in this thread is that I might remove stuff for any number of reasons. A playlist isn't a bad idea but when 90% of these are on one channel you could just go to the channel page....

I posted a few full shows on www.youtube.com/chestercopperpot5 before opting to keep them all on that alternate channel (Willy).

Sorry, Didn't mean it like that - just had a few people give me "Where the hell is 2/2/97" or "Why isn't 9/14/03 up". The playlist thing wouldn't list non-available videos and I hadn't seen how it lays out these days. Does make it faily easy to scan through.

just download RealPlayer, then once it's installed and you hover the cursor over the video itself on YT there should be a "Download This Video" thing that comes up... just click that.

(Download will obviously take a while though, especially if you have DSL or, god forbid, dial-up)

there's actually a chrome (and firefox) extension that downloads it straight from youtube in a variety of formats, most importantly mp4 (figured it out a while ago)

don't know about IE because honestly, who still uses it?

edit: and thank you to copperpot for putting all the work in, these multicam shows are fucking awesome

I just realized tonight that I have a Wii connected to the tv, which has Wi-Fi, which means I have YouTube on my TV. Needless to say, that Playlist Copperpot posted is now the only bookmark on my Wii.

If memory serves...I want to say 99 in Milwaukee. Not even sure if there was a show there but I remember hearing that back in the day.

They started in '99 and really took hold in '00. I think that was a Nancies-driven thing.

    Edit: Nancies.org, not the song.

Almanac lists 7/31/99 (Walnut Creek - Raleigh, NC) as "first time the "woos" became prominent"
