Quarantine Project: Rank all of Tom Cruise's movies

Below is a lot of all of Tom Cruise's roles, and the year the film was released. I believe the only role I am omitting is a brief cameo in an Austin Powers movie. Your mission, should you decide to accept it, is to rank all of Tom Cruise's movies in order, so we can truly see what the people's favorites are.

A few rules:
Only rank the movies you have actually seen.
You will need to rank at least 15 to qualify (I'm sure anyone interested has seen at least 15 Tom Cruise movies, you can fill almost 25% of that requirement just with the Mission Impossible series).
We are ranking the actual movie, not Cruise's performance, or how Cruisey the film is.
If anyone ranks Days of Thunder in the top 5, you are automatically disqualified.

You can PM lists to me between now and September 8th, giving you about 4 weeks to catch up.

1981 Endless Love
1981 Taps
1983 The Outsiders
1983 Losin' It
1983 Risky Business
1983 All The Right Moves
1985 Legend
1986 Top Gun
1986 The Color of Money
1988 Cocktail
1988 Rain Man
1989 Born on the Fourth of July
1990 Days of Thunder
1992 Far and Away
1992 A Few Good Men
1993 The Firm
1994 Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles
1996 Mission: Impossible
1996 Jerry Maguire
1999 Eyes Wide Shut
1999 Magnolia
2000 Mission: Impossible II
2001 Vanilla Sky
2002 Minority Report
2003 The Last Samurai
2004 Collateral
2005 War of the Worlds
2006 Mission: Impossible III
2007 Lions for Lambs
2008 Tropic Thunder
2008 Valkyrie
2010 Knight and Day
2011 Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol
2012 Rock of Ages
2012 Jack Reacher
2013 Oblivion
2014 Edge of Tomorrow

25 is too many to qualify I think...I get it, I'm just saying I'm not sure how many people will qualify unless they are film buffs. Everyone has seen at least 10 Tom Cruise movies, but I'm not sure how many are at 25.

I am ironically at 24 out of those listed.

You don't have to stop at 15. You can complete me - and the list - by ranking as many as possible.

Quality run of movies in the first half of his career. I like a lot of those, I'll see if I can make a list.

Ive been watching the MI series sporadically the last week or so, on III now. I might actually go back and rewatch as many as I can for free before submitting my list. Ive seen 31/42 but a refresh might be helpful.

Outsiders is one of those movies I fear watching because I don't want it to be worse than the book.

But I really hope I enjoy it, when I do get to it.

Ive never been much of a reader, but The Outsiders is one of those books I've always liked (I think it was even required reading in middle school). That being said, I love the movie. Been a while since I've read it, but I feel like the movie did it justice.

Outsiders is a good movie. Karate Kid shows some acting chops. Probably not enough money in the world to pay for a budget for a sequel though. Definitely my favorite movie ever set in Tulsa.

Tom Cruise, even with some recent clunkers, has probably the best IMDB biography of any actor. His ratio of really good movies vs his overall catalog is impressive. John Cazale obviously has the best ratio ever.

You know who has a very very bad imdb? Christian Slater. Take some tums before you review it.

    True romance
    Heathers
    The office

The ones that immediately come to mind I really like.

You had mentioned Gleaming The Cube in the movies thread and honestly, that’s all he really needs. That and Mr. Robot (obviously a different medium).

Gleaming The Cube holds a whole lot of nostalgia factor for me. That was one of those movies I’d watch over and over and over again during the summer as a kid.

I've seen 28. The only ones from 1990 on that I haven't seen are MI 2-5. I've only seen 1 and 6. I have no desire to see the others. Don't really have any desire to check out the 80's stuff I haven't seen so I'll probably end up sticking at 28.
edit: I should probably check out The Color of Money. Maybe I'll cross that one off.
