I saw Grace Potter and the Nocturnals last week in Orlando, I thought they were fantastic. Their encore was all Tom Petty songs which, and they killed it.

really hoping they're the openers for the CO shows since they decided to skip Red Rocks this summer!

its expected with how much of a disappointment CATS was and how underwhelming the CATS tour was. went to the show in broomfield and they filled maybe 1/3 of the place up. they even moved the stage to the center of the floor and didnt fill up that space. i love dispatch and everything, but theyve kindve fallen off the table. i take much more stock in state radio these days

Gary Clark Jr. is amazing, there's a video from one of his performances at the Caravan and it's fucking awesome. Also Head and the Heart and SO good live, and of course JBT is the shit.

while i agree with everything you said, GCJ is only good when he sticks to blues-rock. when he tries that r&b soul rap stuff. he sucks. i dont get why he would ever venture away from the blues-rock

Just listened to a bit of JD McPherson - nice stuff. I think he has a bit of a rockabilly sound that is quite refreshing.

Any rumors out there about who will be opening at SPAC??
Just guessing - we haven't seen Warren Haynes/Govt. Mule in a while, and he has a touring break around that time.

wow that's really disappointing about the Broomfield show! I did the Red Rocks run in 2011 and all 3 nights were packed with crazy energy. Maybe opening for DMB in Commerce City will get the stoke up again...plus it's Brad's hometown. At least that's what I'm hoping for!
