Re: Boxing fans?

Lomanchenko is really on a different level than anyone. No one wanted to fight him at 125 so he had to move up to 130 to fight Sosa. Now no one at 130 wants to fight him so he'll probably have to move up to 135 to fight Mikey Garcia

Amazing fight yesterday. I felt Wlad could have kept going, but I'm not THAT pissed at the stoppage.

It was a really good fight. Can't wait for Joshua/Wilder. If Wlad had been 5 years younger, i think he'd have taken Joshua. Joshua has a good power punch, but he has a long way to go(as you'd expect from a boxer in his 20s).

He's gotta develop a better jab after his power punches, and he needs to learn how to cut he ring off better. Outside of that, he's pretty Gucci.

Joshua seemed punched out after he knocked VK down in the 5th. I thought VK could've capitalized more. I had VK winning atleast one of the close first few rounds. All in all, great fight and I'd like to see a rematch, but I'm not sure that's going to happen.

    Canelo/JCCjr this weekend!

Fight night! Surprised Chavez jr made weight. He's going to ballon up to 175+. I think he has a good chance at beating canelo.

GGG/Canelo booked for September 16 Fight of the century. Sounds like Sor Rungvisai/Chocolatito will be around the same time, but i doubt they'll be on the same card because it sounds like Sor Rungvisai wants the fight to be in Thailand.

HORSESHIT stoppage. I had Kovalev ahead 6-1 (had he finished round 8, it would have been 6-2)

Meh, Kovalev was fading fast. That stoppage was going to happen no matter what, Kov wasn't going to hang in for 4 more rounds.

He kept getting hit low. He seemed fine post fight. He could have hung around.

"Borderline low". Two punches drew warnings, other than that they were clean body shots right at the limit of legality. And Kovalev should do some sit-ups, two inches different on a punch doesn't make that big of a difference. Esp with the groin protectors that start right at the waistband of the pulled-up-high shorts. You get punched an inch below the belt, it hits the pad you are wearing.

I had it 4-3 Kovalev with Ward decidedly wining the 8th. The right to head of Kovalev almost put him out. I thought there could've been one unintentional low blow in the flurry of shots, but I think Kovalev was rocked from the headshot and then lost his wind from the body shots. I agree, it was a bullshit stoppage. Kovalev is a great champion. he deserves an 8 count

Floyd by unanimous decision or by medical stoppage. I think Connor is going to get bloodied badly.
