Re: The MLB Thread

Rich Hill carries a perfecto into the 9th, loses it on a error, but completes the no hitter. Only problem is it's still a scoreless game.

And then Rich Hill gives up a walk off solo HR to Josh Harrison in the 10th. Brutal.

That was an epic game. Watched more of that one than I did the Cubs game.

Yeah, I was in the show. I was in the show for 21 days once - the 21 greatest days of my life. You know, you never handle your luggage in the show, somebody else carries your bags. It was great. You hit white balls for batting practice, the ballparks are like cathedrals, the hotels all have room service, and the women all have long legs and brains.

No more weekly pay checks and long bus rides. It's why a lot of 4-A players (fringe players) tend to get caught using some form of PED to make that hop.

Yea his older brother (who is my age and is like my brother) played for UT and campaigned through the minors for a long time but never got the call. So Zac went into pro ball knowing he could be facing the same fate. I can't even imagine how he feels right now.

I didn't even happen to see that highlight bit until after I saw the one of the walk-off HR. holy shit. For one, granted the camera angle was kinda far away, but I think I saw some gray on the sides of Utley's hair. Blows my mind though, that was legit the same exact thing you could've seen from him when he was 25 years old. god bless him.

but what seemed especially heartbreaking of losing the no-hitter, the left fielder looked like he was literally not more than 12 inches away from being able to catch that ball even just over the fence. hell you don't often be able to be much closer without still not catching the thing. ouch.
and I think they said the first time a pitcher went past the 9th inning with a no-hitter since Pedro in 1995.

two days ago, doug fister gave up a home run to the first batter and then retired the next 27 batters. the next day hill retires the first 27 batters and gives up a home run to the last batter. pretty crazy

Nope - it's been great on my iphone.

Occasionally the feed will stop when I'm watching on my PS4 (maybe once per every five hours of streaming, on average), but going back to the main menu and selecting the game again always fixes it.

Stanton did it again, 462 feet, 118 mph off the bat, #48. He's going to get to 60, great chance at 62.
