How do you use your bathmat?

How do you use your carpet/cloth bathmat after a shower?



A. Dry off a good bit with your towel while still standing in your shower, then step out onto the mat and finish whatever drying off is left.



B. Plop right out onto the mat with both wet feet and start drying off while you are out on the mat, letting the mat absorb the bulk of wetness from your feet and whatever else falls down.



C. Don't have a mat. Just kinda get water everywhere like a wet dog.

Ooh, this is a good point.

My bath mat is out of the way from the rest of the room for me.

If I had to keep stepping on it, I would totally be an Option A person.

Option A, and I literally have disliked any roommate that ever did Option B. Drives me insane and is high on the list of things I am very happy about with regards to never having a roommate again!

Edit: Option C was never possible for me because I always had a mat.

while standing in the shower after the water's off, I give a good strong wipe with both of my hands down my front and my back. That itself actually flings off a surprising amount of water. Step out onto the bath mat, pick up my towels laid over top the closed toilet seat, and take a minute to dry off while standing still.

My house has a fucked up design where they didn't build the shower door high enough from the ground, so we can't put a bath mat right as we talk out from the shower. Which sucks, because I prefer to dry off on the bath mat, but I have to dry off in the shower because I am not an animal like OK Ant.

Kind of option B. I don't have a towel hook near my shower, so as I'm about to step out of the shower, I'll shake each leg before stepping onto the mat, do a little naked leg shimmy on the mat to the towel rack, and then proceed to dry myself.
