I'm glad someone else notices it too. It's really hard to describe what it is. Feels almost like The Walking Dead in terms of production quality. It's like you definitely know you're watching a TV show. Reacher was the exact same way.

Well for me it's doing the opposite. It's taking me out of the story because the it's just like, when are we going to get to the chaos?

The first season's cold open wasn't like that. It was more subtle and instantly forgettable.

Super pumped for Last of Us. I’m curious to see how they carry out the story. Honestly, though, I could watch the 5 hour “movie” on YouTube made from all the cutscenes in the game and be satisfied. The story in the game is that good.

I have a regular old lists app that I use for grocery stores, trip packing lists, and lots of other things. I also have a list in there for TV shows, and I check things off when their seasons end (or series altogether, but like to keep them in there just to remember shows I liked), and I keep them unchecked when they're currently airing/I still need to get around to watching them.

Tulsa King is just ridiculous I think if I watch it as a comedy it's fine. Has no right being a mobster drama otherwise. 4th episode was nonstop eye-rolling with the writing
