I like Conan's podcast a lot too.

How I Built This is another regular for me and there was a recent one with Jimmy Fallon similar to the Conan one you described above; his career from getting on SNL to the Tonight Show and then building his whole brand.

99PI is one of my favorites too and yeah there are some that I end up skipping, but that's true of almost every podcast I listen to.

I've been listening/watching a podcast called the Lex Fridman Show. He's a young Ukrainian American computer scientist who studied at/works for MIT. He can be a bit dry at times but has some super interesting guests and topics. He's interviewed Putin (don't think it's online), Ye, Elon, Rogan, Jordan Peterson, Ben Shapiro, Sam Harris, Zuckerberg, Dan Carlin, Oliver Stone and Magnus Carlson. I really like one with a former CIA agent, Andrew bustamante. All sorts of interesting topics. Most interviews are a couple of hours but you can find clips on YouTube.

my other regular podcasts have been kind of lacking lately, and all I have is mostly this back catalog of the 90s song ones, and I thought the same thing; I can only take so much of his... elocution? Style? Jokes? Need more to break it up.

Edit: the guest he has speak on it is the lead singer of Eve 6 who, yes, also had a bit of a feud with him

oh yeah that's the only way to do it. I barely even know some of the songs or artists, so definitely just been going with the ones I like.

This is gonna make me sound really stupid, but I... had no idea that the lead singer of Sublime died in the 90s, which I learned from the CAKE episode.

I guess I just never thought about the band and whether they were still a band, whether its members were still alive or not. Just knew their few hit songs.

I saw that, I’ll check it for sure.

The HBO doc was pretty good.

I’ve watched every minute of the trial. Fascinating when he took the stand the last two days. Admitted to fleecing so many poor clients out of their money. 12MM. Lies upon lies. But now he’s to be believed.
