Re: Albums as live collections of songs (+/-) Come Tomorrow
I guess I would say people have different perspectives. I love this album, like I love the Big 3. Actually, what Yankee said is very apt... I just like all of the music and don't think about it too much. There is more of it from the original era that I enjoy, but there's something for any mood I'm in, and I appreciate that. Look, I'm not actively searching out studio Stand Up, but if I put the album on I'd listen to it. There's an unhealthy amount of people on this website that just yell into the echo chamber about how much they don't like certain eras of this band, without seeming to accept that it's still on DMB, just not YOUR DMB. I play music partially for a living, went to music school and still listen to pretty much any DMB, Come Tomorrow included. This album gave me a lot of light in a very rough few years and for that I will always be grateful.
All of this to say that people can like or dislike what they want. But the amount of people who can't just accept that others like CT or AFTW or hell, even SU as much as the big three is so odd to me. It's just music. People come to music for different reasons.
