It's painful rooting for this team, knowing there's really no hope, and the best shot of winning is for the owner to pass away and his daughter to sell the team; but knowing when that happens it's also likely the franchise is relocating.

Feel bad for the kid. The people who told him to hold out and not go to Cincy were right.

It's so painful to watch them Palmerize Burrow. He's such a special kid and they are bungle fucking it to the moon. It's why I stopped giving any time or emotion to that god forsaken franchise. Mike Brown will never succeed and when he dies, I imagine Katie is going to keep it and also run it in a similar fashion. The family seems cash poor, but if they're not, fuck them even harder.
The stories that TJ has shared since retiring about his time with the organization is laughable if not frightening. He has said that they were given a wheelable laundry bin full of used jock straps for training camp. Nowhere to get water in training camp, essentially BYOB. We all know how Cincinnati has been known to have less than stellar character guys during TJ's time, he said what you heard about in the news was only the top of the iceberg. They were able to keep a lot of stuff quiet and out of the press.
Not to mention their scouting department is half the size of a team like Baltimore, who TJ also played for and had nothing but good things to say and used them as a basis for comparison as they're both in the same divison.
I cant in good conscience root for Mike Brown to succeed the way that he runs this franchise. It's embarrassing.
