    I cut this part from the BOWA cd and a taper pull I have and put them side by side. I think you're referring to the "Kee-eep" and not the "all". After you take into account that there's a lot of reverb in the taper pull, Dave's voice sounds like it blends better than in the release. But what's important is that you can hear Dave singing the same notes.

    So in my opinion, you're just hearing Dave's voice fluctuate.

    Anyone with autotune experience, please feel free to add your comments and/or post some good comparison files (like this) where autotune is clearly used.
    i was talking about the "all." it sounds like there's a stutter in the vowel sound. but it seems to be there on the taper's pull as well. still bugs me when i hear it.
