    wellllllll I don't think the delay was their call. But yeah the fedora giveaway looks stupid. And, there are people already trying to pre-flip theirs on eBay for like $50

    did the All Star game not strictly used to go back and forth between NL and AL parks each year? cause I know last year was San Diego, this year it's where the Marlins play and for 2018 its DC. That's three NL cities right in a row. But I guess they use the DH no matter where they are at this point... ?

    mind you I'm not watching the derby, but it occurs to me, wouldn't the homeruns be likely to be potentially "bigger" and there's less concern of (young) batters fucking up their swing for the future if the pitches were coming in faster? meaning, why don't they just use a pitch machine? Is it really that the live person throwing makes that much better of a visual for the event broadcast?
